Love some of your projects. The Ethan Allen chair redo is a good idea. The additional part of the cushion was confusing. I have done everything from wedding dresses to upholstery. Those brass knobs that you used for your coat hanger were beautiful in brass. Maybe next time it would be cool to see a little antiquing like you did to the chair, but letting the high points of the brass shine through? I just love brass! But your work is amazing and I really love what you did with the laminate TV stand! It came out looking much more high end 💖

Hi NataLee! You inspire me! Sharing a craftsman tip - Bondo will fill damage to wooden and ceramic pieces that will be painted. Dries hard, sands, screws and drills! Even use in molds. Don't overfill! Work fast..dries quickly. Restored my picket fence tips and chewed furniture tips. It would have worked for your spindle jewelry stand! I wish I knew how to cricket...I loved your monogram on great Grandma's silver box!

to answer your question, YES! I do love revamping old furniture into pretty pieces of usable piece of furniture. i was a young adult with a family during the 70's, 80's and 90's and when my husband and i built our new house, we purchased new and expensive furniture and never changed anything. back then, it was unheard of to revamp, paint over, or convert a pc of furniture used for one purpose into something to use another way. there was no such thing as chalk paint or other products people use now. i dont even recall a thrift store back then, either. the "thing" to do then was have good furniture, china, crystal, silver eating utensils for the formal dining room and everyday home life was done more formally than the casual way we live now! if back then when i was younger, i would have done things like people do now b/c i love it. i was raised by a carpenter who taught me how to paint (oil base) and varnish, sand, put on another coat, sand, another coat, sand with steel wool until the finish was almost like from the factory! i love watching the make-overs that you do. i have a question, you revamped an Eathan Allen chair. did you take off the old cushion fabric and put new padding? my mama covered our sofa one time and i learned to always take off the old and put new! you ought to see what i have hanging on my living room wall, which was a "no-no" 30 & 40 years ago! i love what people do now for decor in the home! HOORAY!

I love the shiplap frame. I snagged 4 of the shiplap look paneling, sheets 24” x 48 “ for free at Lowe’s! Score!!! Now I know what I’m going to do with it. This will look great over the upgraded printer table (that was a TV stand like in video # 1 here) and allow me to display my craft things in jars and boxes on a larger shelf on the wall. A pretty addition to brighten up a dull office!
