That center thing in the van is the engine! Notice Chance is the only one who drove the van because he must be the only one who can drive a column transmission, probably 3 on the tree!

It's apropos that Austin sings the first verse since he's from south Georgia. This is such a feel good song! As always, the singing, harmonies and Adam's crazy beatboxing are terrific. What a fun time! Yes, you were listening to real country music. And a country twang in Maryland might be a stretch, unless you’re close to the Virginias (yes, I brought up a map). There was a lot to listen to in this more current version, and all the different vehicles! This is such a smooth sound, even in the low-down. I love this one, Jeremy I'm with you in that I'm not a fan of country either but HF is just amazing and I love them whatever they do. Someone will correct me if I get this wrong but I'm pretty sure the first van was their original touring van (shown at Rupp's house in the Tim in the snow video). I'm pretty sure it was and that it was a throwback to their humble beginnings and I love that.

I've been to all of those places in SoMd and spent my fair share of time in the "BAL-MER' area, as well, lol. The kids that I went to school with (eastern shore Queen Anne's County) that came from the farms had more of the twang, but it wasn't until I went to WVU that I really heard that thick southern drawl from the students who were from more of the Appalachian culture, which was sometimes really hard to understand. Oh, PS if you actually do want to get into some country, I suggest maybe trying some country that has a bit more of a bluegrass sound like Zac Brown Band. Some of his so-called "B Side" stuff is fantastic. Plus there are some very talented instrumentalists in the band. Also, his stuff is usually really fun. There are many more great country musicians, but I'm going on and on again. Loved your reaction as usual. You guys are a light to others, for real :)

Ok Ninja, time for an auto mechanics class. In the '60's, when that van was built, the engine was installed between the front seats. That console looking thing is the engine cover. It was not the best idea. It made the cabin hot and loud. The engine was also not very easy to work on. It did how ever make a great table for burgers and (home) fries.
