Mark, I loved this song when you first released it & now, it's even more amazing with Home Free joining in & the message is needed now more than ever, thanks to social media & moral decay! I met you about the time this came out with Dave & Dex (my & my older son's buddies) from US101! I told my son about you & Home Free doing this & he was excited. He told me he used to hang out with your dad in the studio! He's been a sound engineer in Nashville for 22 years for many well known artists. Thank you for doing this & God bless you all!🤗&😘from SE Tennessee!😊

I had never heard this song before I watched the Home Free video. I've seen it at least 8 times and I've cried every single time. I was never bullied - or if I was, I didn't notice. But I was always just a little bit "different". Still am. Sort of proud of it. People who might laugh at me don't know what they're missing. Too bad for them. Just treat everybody the way you want to be treated. And once again, Home Free demonstrates what a caring, talented group they are. Well done.

In the 90's, I saw Mark Wills in concert and got to meet him afterwards. He is such a nice guy and his voice is exactly what you hear here. Also, it's great that you mentioned anti-bullying month. Back when I was young, I got into several fights over bullying, for myself and others I cared about. That included one fight at church over my cousins' studder.I accidentally punched the pastor. The incident is brought up a lot still bc it took 2 grown men to get me off a boy(yeah, I was In a dress).

Good for you. One of my favorite quotes is from a movie called American Sniper, and there's a flashback scene in which the protagonist, as a child, has his father tell him "There are three kinds of people in the world. Most people are sheep, and the second kind are wolves, who prey on the sheep. Then there are the sheepdogs who protect the sheep from the wolves. Son, we ain't raisin' no sheep in this house, and I will whoop your a** if you ever become a wolf."

You are enough. You were created exactly how God intended and He loves you as you are. He is not OK with other people treating His creation (you) with anything less than respect. How others treat you is not a reflection of your character, it is a reflection of their character. Also…don’t forget to accept the love that comes your way. You deserve it. ❤

Although bullying should be shamed, I think it's just as important, if not moreso, to teach those who get bullied how to handle it. In a sense, bullying at school is just a bit of a taste of what you're going to encounter in the real world at various times as an adult.

This song is really good and loved how the kids were a part of it all. Children like this are very special to me. I was a school bus driver for 30 years and a lot of that time I drove a special needs bus. The kids were amazing and could be a lot of fun. One of the boys was such a stinker. He couldn't walk or talk very clearly and every so often his head would lean off to the side and I would stop the bus and fix him back. In just a little time it would happen again. Then I realized that the little stinker was making his head move. When I realized what he was doing and I told him I knew what was happening he would laugh cause he was having a blast. Loved all those kids. The kids who are special or just overly shy, deserve the right to a great life without being treated badly.

What a amazing video. A beautiful collaboration. Mark Wills is a great singer. And then my favorite group Home Free in the background sounds fabulous. A beautiful, but also sad song with a important message I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers. It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that. I never told anyone before. I let it go and thought I could handle it. But I developed a fear of failure and inferiority complex about it. Fortunately, I had and have very dear family and friends around me, who unconsciously dragged me through it. It was only when I was 57 years old that I went to therapy for it.

I love this song. I remember when this song came out. I cried or was teary eyed every time I listened to it. Still know it word for word (almost) it’s been a few years. That being said….to me, it’s not Home Free featuring Mark Wills……it’s Mark Wills featuring Home Free. ☹️🤷🏻‍♀️. BTW who is the female vocalist toward the end. Back when I was a kid (I’m 61) it wasn’t called bullying. It was teasing, taunting, or being picked on…..all the same thing. I was bullied for being taller than everyone in my class, until I stopped growing in the 7th grade-a perfectly acceptable 5’6. I was bullied for being “smart”. I was bullied for not doing things. Heck I didn’t want to face the wrath of Mom when she found out….not IF, WHEN! I was bullied but boys AND girls, even adults…..for developing earlier than 98% of other girls. Even my Mother “bullied” me because of my weight. In 8th grade at 5’6” & 142 lbs she told me that I was too “big”. I know as an adult, that was totally wrong. Mom has been gone over 7 years now and even thou I truly believe she thought she was helping me, the hurt continues. ❤

Hi Lyle, just wanted to let you know I understand the bullying in school because I, too was a redhead (now mostly white!) That was back in the early 60's and it seems not much has changed. BEAUTIFUL. Simply beautiful.💜 I was so incredibly blessed to have the parents I did. Longgggg before schools made it a ‘rule’ (which it’s sad they ever had to😔), my parents had a strict ‘All or None’ rule. In elementary school on Valentines Day, I could stuff envelopes, label cards & take candy to drop in the brown paper sacks we’d each decorated so painstakingly w red, pink, & white construction paper for ALL of my classmates… or NONE. Those were my 2 choices. This was late sixties to early 70s in the South, USA. Longggggg before there was a Forrest Gump, my Mother would say to me more times than I can count ‘Pretty is as pretty does’. In other words- Be kind; kind is beautiful; in fact the only true beauty… simplified for a child’s ears. Don’t get me wrong- I’ve no doubt I nor my siblings still weren’t perfect! But last week my adult son drove 7hrs roundtrip 3 days in a row to work Crisis Response in Ft Myers after Hurricane Ian. Says it looks apocalyptic😔 About to do it a 4th time, I expressed concern. He said, ‘Mom- I just get up every morning & try to be the very best human I can be.’🥹 Yup… we did ok there. Live and learn and pass it on❤️ I’m so sorry for what you endured. However you define your accent now- it’s wonderful!! And that’s the real point, isn’t it? Only YOU get to define it; no1 else😊 Loved this song when originally released, love this now!! You MUST check out Gary Vox of Rascal Flatts’ ‘Our Night to Shine’ which he did for & with TTF. Search for “Official 2017 Night to Shine Highlight Video featuring Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts”. You or anyone who has enjoyed Mark & Homefree will be incredibly moved by both song & video. ‘Shook’ would be a word🥰 As always- fantastic reaction! Important reaction💜 Thank You!!!!! This song has always made me cry! I didn't know October was anti-bullying month, but I knew whatever Home Free had up their sleeve would be perfect! Once again, no egos involved. Their platform was open to spread this message 1st and foremost. And, again no surprise, they don't mind playing the supporting role. When you think you can't love these special men any more, they go and do something like this! Then my respect skyrockets even higher! Bullying is hurtful and does so much more harm than many folks realize. It can do a lifetime of damage, and worse, it can be the reason that someone chooses to end their lives. When I was young, I dealt with some bullying and I'd just shut down until they'd stop usually. Ironically, I was the 1st one ready to step up and stand up for others being bullied. I handed out more than one ass kicking to the cowards that picked on those who wouldn't or couldn't defend themselves. Growing up in a small rural area with a very small school, it didn't take long for it to get around not to mess with someone if I were anywhere close by. Probably 25 years later, I ran into 2 of the biggest bullies from my past at a local bar. They told me that there were several guys that were interested in me at different points, but I had scared them all too badly to ask me out! Which I found funny and sad all at once. I've continued to live my life trying my best to protect others from abuse of any sort. My thought is that you should never look down upon someone unless you're there to give them a hand up. Great reaction as always! ❤
