I was familiar with the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" where this song was covered previously. So when I heard Home Free do the song I was absolutely floored. This group is well beyond exceptional!
@Tribblepuppy3 жыл бұрын
The sound Adam was making was his version of a harmonica, and when they are in concert Austin also makes that sound, and he and Adam do a duet of sorts.
@DennisKovacich3 жыл бұрын
And check out their newest cover “Workin’ for a Livin’” to hear an even longer harmonica solo from Adam.
@babyfry47753 жыл бұрын
You did your homework alright!! Good on the names! Home Free is so good. Adam is crazy good and all the boys can do some beatboxing. Tim has a 5 octave range so he can go super low and sing up in the tenor range too. Adam was doing the harmonica and drums, bugs and other sounds but Chance was doing the mouth harp (sounds like a didgeridoo) at the beginning and end of the song. Great reaction Xed.
@LoRyder3 жыл бұрын
Great reaction! Suggestions for more Home Free: "End of the Road," a Boys II Men cover. Also, for pure harmonies with no beatboxing, check out "Helplessly Hoping" and "How Great Thou Art." And to see their funny side, "Butts Remix," "All About That Bass," and their new release, "Workin' For a Livin." Another new release that is just beautiful is a cover of Old Dominion's "One Man Band." Keep up the great work!

Just found you and immediately subscribed. your reactions are priceless. Love your enthusiasm, compassion, and appropriation for great music. My I recommend three songs by home free? All their songs are excellent. 1. Everybody walking this land. 2. When a man loves a woman. 3. This is my curve ball: In the blood. One of my favorites but not played often. On and on. Chris Stapleton another fine American artist, love all his songs, Cold, Death row, It’s a man’s world, Tennessee whiskey. On and on. Can you tell your fans a little bit about yourself? Appreciate your reactions. Thank you

The sound replicate d at beginning and end is a Jews Harp; a Jaw Harp is a more colloquial name here in the South. Adam Chance is doing it. It is a form of 'Throat Singing done by the Mongolian Steppe tribes. They looped the sound in part here because it hurt his throat, its a great strain on the tightened throat to keep it going for minutes! He does it perfectly tly. Old guy here and we all had one as a kid, but the little twanger You strum while holding the frame with tight lips when learning, wil! hit your teeth and that isn't fun !

Chris Rupp, Adams brother, has gone solo as "Chance" came in to replace him. Chris Rupp was the one who set up their videos and edited them to get the final result. Chris has his own YT reaction channel where he reacts to the videos he worked on and gives fun insight and behind the scenes "Easter Eggs" of info. Check out his review of Ring of fire. Enjoy!
