Adam learned to drum so his hand movements would match his sounds , you have to remember this is 8 years old he was fantastic then now he is just out of this world

Love Adam Rupp & his insane talent. He is the best out there in my opinion. He simulates the sounds of a drum perfectly. Many drummers have commented on how good he is. He sounds so realistic. His breath control must be crazy. I heard he makes the sounds both while inhaling & exhaling. This was a few years ago & hard to believe but he is even better now. Adam is the glue that holds Home Free together. He is their secret weapon which other a cappella groups can't match.

Adam Rupp is also a beautiful accomplished vocalist. Pay attention to songs where he is not percussive voicing or beatboxing, and is singing. He has such clarity in his vocals it is mind blowing to realize the depth, breadth and width of pure genius he really is…And, by the way, is the genius behind the production of their videos. Just ❤ Adam Rupp!!!

This is how I describe Adam Rupp's abilities. I got on an airplane and flew to see Home Free in San Diego Sept. 2022. They performed at the Balboa theater in downtown San Diego. It is a very old historic building. I had already gotten my money's worth once I took my first step into the building. Decided to pay a little bit of extra money and go to the Q&A session before the show. The guys come out and basically talk with you for about 30 minutes. They answer all questions and it was interesting. Someone asked Adam to do some stuff. I've followed Home Free for over 2 years now. Adam Rupp has always amazed me. But I can tell you that after hundreds of videos then seeing and hearing that man perform his craft from no more then 8 to 10 feet away from me has me even more amazed and baffled now . The dude is incredible and I can't wait to see them again. If you get the chance to see their show spend a very small amount and purchase one of the VIP packages offered. Best money I've EVER spent. Home Free has put so many smiles on my face in the last 2 years and I Thank them so much. Treat yourself to the Home Free experience. Trust me on this.👍👍👍🎤🎶🎶🔥🔥

Perhaps curiously, since they're an acapella band, they can all play instruments. Austin & Tim both play piano, Chance plays guitar, Rob can play saxophone and Adam Rupp plays drums, trumpet and apparently anything else he chooses to try. He truly is incomparable! Home Free often introduces him as the heartbeat of the band (or a "freak of nature" LOL).

I am completely addicted to Adam Rupp's beat boxing/vocal percussion. I've seen this video at least 200 times and others that have been on You Tube too many times to count. He has been honing his skills for over 20 years and he is world class, next level. His performances are creative, electrifying and exciting. His solos are spectacular and when he performs with the group, his musicality is perfection. Someone asked him how long it took him to learn to beat box and he answered, "I'm still learning." Thanks for a great reaction.

As phenomenal as he was then he's even better now! The man just continues to hone his craft! I showed this to my 6 yr old nephew (who's dad is a drummer) and he was convinced Adam was playing invisible drums lol. Adam's genius is not limited to vocal percussion -- he is a well-rounded musucian who understands every part of the group dynamic! It's not Christmas season, but his arrangement of "Do you hear what I hear" is a masterpiece which plays any time of year. It's an older number for Home Free, before Chance and with Chris Rupp still part of the group he and Adam founded. I'd recommend it to you even here in April -- your appreciation and respect for Adam could only be rewarded! I really enjoy your reactions!

Welcome Jeremy! I think you’re the only reactor that I’ve seen that has actually done the 1 to 3 with Adam Rupp! Loved that! Also, I don’t know if you were aware this is about halfway through the concert so he has been beatboxing for the previous 35 to 45 minutes while his compadres go take a break and he still going and he still has the rest of the show to do afterwards. This is one of the many reasons why he is called, the Freak of Nature or the Machine. He obviously loves what he does, and is enjoying it. 🥰 I have yet to see them perform, but one of these days I look forward to being able to do that. There are a few recordings of Adam doing mike work but not many….the behind the scenes of Try Everything, there’s a little bit of Adam at the mike and with Home Free singing with Lee Greenwood and the Air Force band singing God Bless the USA there’s a little bit too. Aha! My favorite "drum solo" video. 😀Not only that, but I've seen him do the same routine, LIVE. SO AWESOMELY MORE THAN AWESOME!!! \0/ Speaking of "blowing us away" with his talents, Adam's instrument of choice while in music college, was the trumpet. I'm a trumpet player, myself. I only WISH I could do all the other stuff he does! 😀 I see that you haven't yet reacted to "In the Blood" (their John Mayer cover from their "Timeless" album). To me, though the beatboxing on it is much more simplistic than this example, it is also much more powerful. I hope you'll check it out and react to it, when you have time. It's an amazing song, presented in the best of their very inimitable way.
