An original written by Chance for the new video game "Skull and Bones" coming out in August. Home Free smashed it again! Chance played the guitar and Austin played the mandolin in this one, Tim and Chance doubled up on the bass in the chorus, Austin and Rob broke the sound barrier with their high notes and Adam clearly out did himself with the drums and sea sounds. Freakin' amazing, listened to it more than 28 times so far and still fascinated with it, can't wait until Home Free's own video comes out.

It’s a Chance original and it was a HUGE honor that the company chose his song for the video! There is also a live video of when they sang it at the gaming expo by Ubisoft. The game name is Skull and Bones.

Chance was commissioned by gaming company Ubisoft for their long anticipated game Scull & Bones coming out finally in August. Chance kicked ass in writing & singing his own song. They performed this the other day in Los Angeles at the Ubisoft reveal of anticipated new games.

You can hear Tim singing the octave lower than Chance in the beginning and in other parts of the chorus, but I really love Chance singing in his bass range on the lead in this. This is his song. He's a hell of a songwriter! Maybe he'll write for movies some day. PS there's a live version for the release, where you see Chance on guitar and Austin on mandolin. Totally epic!!!! The incredible amount of material they have released over the last 4 years plus is totally increditble!!!! Home Free is so talented. They can do any genre of music. That was so much fun to listen to. Another one of Chance's pet projects as he loves sea shanties. His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion. I'm not a gamer but I love this.

They had to sign an NDA with Ubisoft when they created the song. So...they had to keep this a secret for an entire year! They do intend to release a regular video later this year, closer to the game's release date. My SIL reviews video games and I showed him this video. He believes that this will play at the start up of the game and possibly a more humming version playing in certain parts of the game.

Opera Rob came out clearly in this one. Chance wrote it for Ubisoft for the theme song of Skull and Bones coming out in August. You have to watch the live debut at the game day reveal. Chance plays guitar and Austin plays mandolin. In the live version, Tim sings even deeper than on the recording, both he and Chance do bass. And Adam with the percussion. They will have a video out later for it. Just magnificent!

Avi Kaplan’s Change on the Rise maked me want to limber my sword and become a warrior. This song, which is an original song by Chance, makes me look longingly at my box with my pirate costume in it (I’m a long time Renaissance faire junkie). You should see the live version they did at the Ubisoft premiere. Adam Chance is doing the overtone singing at the very beginning where Chance and Tim are doing the “yo ho” thing, Chance is on the guitar, Austin is on the mandolin. Nearing the end, Austin and Rob are leaning heavy into their opera chops, while Adam is doing the “skull and bones” over the chorus. Then of course, Chance has the evil laugh at the end. .

A fantastic song written by Chance for Ubisoft.. I see images of the old days where the pirates all sang together on their ship. So incredible performance. This is so very cool! A totally different sound but again so great. I would like Chance to write more often for Home Free. Home Free can just sing anything. Chance with his perfect low voice for this, Tim's slightly lower voice that goes so well with Chance's. Adam who also contributes to the bass, but also shows the undisputed beatboxer / vocal percussionist / vocal artist. Austin who also plays a musical part but then gets into it vocally with his powerful voice. And then Rob who clearly shows his rich operatic voice here. And then that harmony that sounds so beautiful. There's also a video on YT from SpottinGames where they bring this live

I noticed and appreciated you dancing along with the SONG. This sounds so “EPIC”. I’m convinced they can SING 🎤🎶❤️‍🔥 anything. Have a GREAT “Father’Day” 2023’ (regardless if you are) but it’s nice to support FATHER’s it’s just how I was raised. My grandfather raised me to be self sufficient and I really miss him. It's epic to hear Chance and Home Free sing for a video game. I remember Chance loves shanties (hence they have the Sea Shanty Medley), Chance really rocked this song. Hopefully we get to see them perform this on live in like GOTY❤

Just fell in love with this, as I'm a pirate ☠️ from long ago too. Chance did quite the job writing this - it's catchy and sticks once you hear it. I can see it on the big screen 😊 Great reaction and there is a live performance by Home Free out there at the secret premier of the video game that's hopefully coming out soon. I'm planning to play it myself and I'm no gamer. I'm happy with it too!!

I too am recent - less than a year - and NOT REAL VIGILANCE as they have been in this ensemble for over six years - original kine up goes back to College days for Founders = Chris Rupp - gone for production work - brother Adam Rupp ( beat Boxer ) remains and is THE BEST anywhere .... 21 plus years as I recall. They are a collection of the BEST TENORS 2, 3, Bass-Baritone-Tenor 1s * as both original TIM Foust as well newer last 6 years = Adam Chance handle that incredible range !!! No way are they matched by any !!!! GBjj

That was no cover that was original song written by Adam Chance specifically for the Ubisoft Game of Skull and Bones. They specifically teamed up with them and asked if they would do this.
