@@nikelodeon6852 Just because Tim doesn’t use those techniques, doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to use them. It’s well known that when Tim and Geoff met on the “Sing-Off”, Geoff was unable to go as low as Tim. They became friends and Geoff asked Tim to help him expand his vocal range. Tim did the same thing for Avi prior to him joining PTX. I’m not saying that Tim taught either of them everything, he just helped with the raw talent that was there. Tim has been in the a cappella world for a long time and is older than the other guys. It makes sense that they would look to him as a mentor of sorts, just as he would have looked to someone else. I say Tim is the most talented for a variety of reasons…his 6 octave range, the quality of his voice, his song writing, his arranging, his teaching, and he’s just a darn good guy!

@@nikelodeon6852 if you had taken the time to actually read my post thoroughly and not jump on anyone whose opinion differs with yours, you would know that my message was not combative in any way and actually agreed with you on certain points. So, if you want to call me a liar, you are calling Tim a liar! I didn’t say that Tim taught Geoff how to do subharmonics. What I said is that just because Tim doesn’t use the technique, doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to use it. What I said was that Tim helped Geoff extend his vocal range. I think it’s great that you are invested in Geoff and he is a great talent, but please don’t go around calling people liars and being combative when their opinion differs from yours. I’ve been a Home Fry for many years and I know that’s not what those guys stand for, and I know that they are good friends with Voice Play, so I’m hoping they have the same ethics. Please do not reply again.
