That’s the thing…they’re all so good that it’s hard to have a favorite. I saw a concert (online) from Scotland where Tim does this wacky bird sound which I never would have guessed he could do. They’re all super talented. Love this mashup. The couple in the video are the Hound + Fox who are married. They have sung with both Tim and Chance. Try Wayfaring Stranger on Adam Chance’s channel. It is confusing cause Austin sounds so dif in the low register , but he sang all the way thru until Tim came in with let's get it on and then Tim sang all the way up 'til the Sheeran song came in again. This is one of my top 5 fav videos of theirs. And YES Tim is hilarious in the beginning with those four notes. He said he sabatoged himself cause he has to replicate that in concerts. 🤣

It was Tim's idea to mash up these 2 songs. Ed was sued over "allegedly" copying "Let's Get It On" when writing "Thinking Out Loud". He won the case, but the two songs do have very similar qualities and make a great mash-up. Great reaction - thanks Jeremy! Awesome suggestion Nancy. 🍟

Good reaction. I’m surprised that many reactors do not recognize “Let’s Get It On”. They don’t know the wah-wah-wah-wah-wah at the start, and they don’t even notice the words ‘come on, come-on’ in the background. It’s Marvin fricking Gaye and The Funk Brothers!!! It’s Motown! Augh! 🤯

These guys are just the best at doing mashup songs. Prefer this over Ed Sheeran's version. Austin does a great job of the song & Tim's bass voice is perfect for the Marvin Gaye song. But he can surprise you with his high notes too. Love Adam's vocal percussion as always. The cute couple in this video are "The Hound & The Fox". You should also check out their music. The one and only time that they were on my TV was when they had gone to be with Don McLean to help him receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of fame. On my local channel news I heard them singing . I was in the kitchen getting dinner ready and I screamed " thats my boys!!" My family thought I'd lost my mind. But I swear i can recognize their voices anytime, anywhere. Austins is always the one the stands out for me. Did you notice that the couple in this was the Hound and the Fox? McKenzie and Reilly Zamber. They do a lot of collaborations with Chance that are fantastic. 😊❤

I love Tim’s guitar sounds! Now, I find it ironic that HF did a mash-up of the two songs involved in the lawsuit against Ed Sheeran before the lawsuit was filed. The couple is the Hound+Fox who Chance collaborates with fairly frequently. Their music is great (man, we need to find some more adjectives)! My favorite changes with every song or even on a given day. Thanks, Jeremy!

I heard the mix of these two songs was on purpose. Keeping “Let’s get it on” together with “Thinking Out Loud”. Even that it was a consideration of the lawsuit. Could be. But Home Free put this out in 2015, and the suit against Sheeran was launched in 2016, so I’m not sure the timing makes sense.

A wonderful one-take video. The couple is The Hound & The Fox and they did a video of Thinking Out Loud at the same time. It is basically the two of them getting ready for this date - same outfits, etc. At this point in time they were still FifGen Films, the film company that did the video. Most of the early HF videos were done by them. Austin really does sound different in his lower register - he has a new single (audio only) that came out today that is primarily lower register. Lovely in many ways - Everlasting Ground.

Every lead from HF is my favourite at that moment. I do have a favourite, but every single member of HF is amazing in their own right and it is such a joy celebrating each of their talents individually in every single song. Love it. 😊

Austin and Tim both can rock a floral like no one's business. I love that they both kick against the silly gender norms that say flowers are for women. Dunno if you spotted it or not, but this was all one continuous take. I guess it took them forever to get one where no one messed up.

Impossible to pick a favorite! Although I think Adam's vocal percussion is what gives the group that special touch. The more I listen to HF the more I'm impressed with their insane talents and dedication. Good reaction as usual!

It drives me crazy that some folks can’t recognize Austin singing lead through the whole song. He sings the second verse at exactly the same pitch as the first one. The only difference, he is unseen. Anyway, it’s a great video, shot in all one take. Their performance is amazing. I could listen to this all day long.

Jeremy..... I'm a Home Fry and have watched MOST of their releases and HAVE NEVER seen a bad release! Of course some are better then others depending on your taste and or insight. Seems like the lead vocal depends on the song..... BUT Adam Rupp is the cornerstone of the group. What's awesome about this group is that every member has their day in the sunlight. peace

It seems my favourite changes from minute to minute... kudos for this reaction. Austin has a marvellous three-octave range, but Tim is on that short list of singers with a five plus range. Rob just has a magical voice, and what can one say about Adam? Chance is also a marvel who fits right in although I did experience a bit of adjustment when he replaced Chris. His voice is more breathy where the other guys seem more pure...but together they are pure magic!

I adore all of Home Free, but Adam is my fav, simply because I find his beat boxing mesmerizing, but as far as picking a favorite amongst the other four, it changes according to who is featured at any given moment. Each of their voices are so awesome, I find something new to love every time I relisten to all of their songs. That's what's so awesome about this group. All different, all amazingly talented. Greatest mash-up! I remember playing Marvin Gaye's LP every day in the 70s because it helped with my anxiety. My Dad had build an amplifier and two huge speaker boxes with a woofer that could blow the shingles off the roof. Such great memories, he did everything for his only child ❣

I got the biggest kick watching you get messed up in the beginning with Tim. 😂 I can relate! LOL! Did you notice the video was a one-take? That amazes me because of all the moving parts. Can you imagine how many tries it took? I love these guys too, each one for completely different reasons or moods. They're so versatile, and yet distinctive. Rob, in "Amazed" and "God Bless the Broken Road" is amazing. Chance in "I Cant Outrun You" is haunting, and Tim and Austin are good in anything!!! Then theres Adam... 🤯

It wasn't Chris it was Austin.Tim was goffing around with that starting notes one day. Then they decided to use it for this song. This was filmed in the same place that the Butt's Remix was filmed. The couple in the video are The Hound and the Fox. Tim and Chance have sung with them. They have their own KZbin channel. I you really want to hear Chris Rupp try the song Movin On. To see the Zambler’s preparing for this date see the hound + the fox thinking out loud. The video is 1 counties take. It took all day to film it repeatedly. Country Fried Pop medley and Butts remix were filmed at the same location. Chris and Adam are my favorite tenors. They are so versatile with singing and beatboxing.

I don't know if you heard that the estate of Marvin Gaye tried to sue Ed Sheeran for copyright infringement 'cuz of his song "Thinking Out Loud". It was announced a few months ago that Sheeran won (or, conversely, the late Mr. Gaye's estate lost). I’ve been doing it since the very beginning. Maybe you haven’t been around for so long? But it started in my 2nd or 3rd HF reaction. Also…out of all the home fries who’ve commented and shown me love…so far, you’re the only one who has an issue with it. Can’t please everyone.
