If no-one recorded these concerts i wouldnt see them apart from the official videos. I would never have heard any story times especially the barnacles. Thank you to all the Home Fries who do the videos ❤ 🏴

Tim was up here with Blue Jupiter living in the same city as I was at the time with my children. I bet I ran into him and had not a clue. I only found out about Home Free in 2021 when I had covid and was listening to Pentatonix Christmas songs. They came up as a suggestion. One listen and I was hooked. No other a capella could compare. My kids can't remember if they had a substitute math teacher named Mr. Foust. Strange the way life is. Thanks for your reaction!!

Many many years ago, when my sister was getting married in church, my brother and I sat in the front pew with my mum and dad... as my sister and her husband approached to kneel at the altar, her knees cracked - I mean, really really loudly so it echoed throughout the entire church. My brother (23) and I (21) immediately dissolved into desperately suppressed giggles, while my mother hissed "Shut up! Shut up!" at us in a mortified tone which, of course, made us giggle even more.... so yeah I know all about suppressed laughter in church.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", and so is comedy. I personally object to jokes that are demeaning or vulgar or meant to hurt another person; but I've watched many videos of Tim on stage or behind the scenes and I've never heard him say anything that was not aimed at the foibles of humanity or ironies of life, or just witty quips of the moment. It all seems like gentle teasing to me rather than anything caustic. For something to be funny, it has to have a bit of a hook in it to catch our attention and make us think. Tim is known for his kindness and compassion. He goes out of his way to ensure the welfare of others. There is no mean intention there. I'm grateful he shares his gift of making us laugh along with his gift of song. Gail L.

I am totally with Jeremy on all of this. There are bad words that are used to hurt people and there are subjects that should be off limits. But even with that said I love Tim sassy, sarcastic side, only he can get away with this kind of stuff. As long as he isn't hurting anyone, he is just joking and we love that, he definitely keeps it interesting. Great reaction btw

When I'm at a concert or festival, I record little pieces(about 30 seconds to a minute of a few songs not all) to share with my friends. But not whole concerts because I do want to enjoy the performance when I'm there. And I agree with Jeremy on comedysubjects, there are just some subjects you don't joke about. On the other hand, a lot of people are soooo easily offended nowadays, so I also agree with Tim to a point🤷🏻♀️

Sometimes the "cheap seats" are all that's available when people buy tickets. & im sure saucy tim understands that. Hes just poking fun. Happened to me my 1st concert! It was a last minute thing * thats all that was left. I got better seats at the 2nd. They're actually playing in Knoxville ( or is it Nashville?) ON MR HANDSOME'S birthday this yr & I am determined to take him & do the vip & all of it! He wants to see them so bad! Great H🏠me 🍟day, as usual. ❤❤

I think Tim at times needs to round out the edges a little bit, but he does seem to like to prevoke thoughful conversations. I enjoy respectful banter and there are always some that just shut down any opionion that differs....and thats just not how people heal their divides. I hope the speech that he gave at a university recently gets posted on youtube....it showcases what a deeply sensitive man that he really is away from these performances. That Tim is extremely thoughtful, eloquent, and very empathetic.

Only if Tim posts the video. He may want to give the presentation again, so wouldn't want it out there in the public domain at this time.

He said it himself, it's not the topic, it's the intention. I'm a transperson. There are people that make really funny jokes including transpeople. And then there are others that make fun of people for being trans. These people have very different intentions

I keep looking at that silly grin on Tim's face there. He miiiight be a little drunk. He doesn't drink at all now and hasn't for years. He told another reactor in an interview that he stopped drinking because it was negatively affecting his career and performance in concerts. I think he stopped around time he got married in 2016. I could be wrong about when he stopped. He has slimmed down a lot since he quit drinking. He looks cute in that picture though. 😁 Chubby cheeks...lol.

When HF came to Tucson a few years ago, Tim shoved his foot in his mouth. The year before, Austin and his new wife had come to Tucson for the annual Gem & Mineral Show. The weather was perfect - that year. So HF expected perfect weather. Nope. It was cold (for Tucson) and wet. So Tim starts out with “Warm and sunny my ass!” quickly realizing that he was looking at the elders in the crowd. OOPS.

Tim's crazy talented and I love HF's music (just hope there's not a big change in that coming) but I know he and the guys are 'waaaaay more liberal than I am. Sometimes he says things that are cringey or borderline offensive to me, but I try to just shake it off, chalking it up to a difference in opinion. He does seem to be a pretty decent guy, but just doesn't give a rat's patootie if someone likes what he says or not, lol.

Cheap seats!?! Why would it be bad in a concert/performance setting -- but nearly an honor in baseball (sport). Yer there and maybe the only seats available -- or maybe "just where ya wanted to be"! --- Sometimes we read into things a lil too far -- rightfully so in some cases ...... but honestly, it's where we take it vs actual. There's a lot of humor in the group and I can't recall it being done in "bad taste" (but I haven't been to/in all presents of these guys either). All good : ) Be Safe

I don’t record a lot during the shows, but I definitely record some, because I want to relive the experience later. I will go back and watch vids from their live shows and remember what it felt like to be in the room. I will note that my phone will not record Tim’s low notes (I have to rely on my memory to fill in that part 😂).

Tim was a dental student awhile ago. Then he decided to sing instead. He helped support himself by substitute teaching and Math was what he taught. So both things are correct. Dental school first, then substitute teaching. Thanks J and J and thanks Ruth! Oh, Adam Chance was back stage for Chris's last show. Great discussion! I enjoy Tim's "talks"; they feel very familiar because everyone in my family has a similar sense of humor. I don't like practical jokes that are mean-spirited, though. I do not necessarily think there are any topics that should be off limits in comedy, so I do agree with Tim on that. For example, I can't tolerate hateful racist jokes, but I don't think that racism as a topic should be off limits in comedy especially when you can use comedy to point out injustices and hate and the senselessness of all of it. On the other hand, I think that words do matter, how they are used, the context, the tone of voice, all of it, so I definitely don't agree with Tim on that point. But I don't really care about people cursing in general if that's all he was getting at. There's a place for so-called bad words in comedy, too. Okay, I'll stop now lol. Loved your reaction as usual. Hope all is going well in AZ!

Happy Home FrYday! 🍟 I have seen this before, and Tim can be quite crass. But how he did this was adult in a more appropriate way. And when he called out the parents, remember that some parents are older. I find that the attitudes of some (not all) kids is way different than when I raised mine (they are 45-51). Sometimes they would get their ear grabbed and slightly twisted to prove my point. But I got a good laugh today. Now I’m ready for more! 🎶 Cyd

I went to a home free concert a few months ago, and I was all about trying to get some good pictures. Finally, I was like you know what you just need to exist in this experience and enjoy this experience because trying to take pictures was taking away from being in the moment. I Just forced myself to put my phone down for the rest of the concert, and it was so much better that way.
