As always, excellent content. Have been an avid gardener for years and learn something new every time. Wondering your perspective on biochar? Thank you!

I only just found your channel when I heard of wind strip trays. I'm glad I did. I follow no dig. Just from this year. I'm growing things ok..but not great. Something is missing. My compost is mainly dried grass, fresh grass, weeds and cow manure. I put my ingredients into a large cardboard veg box 3ft high by 4ft square. I leave it a week then turn it once a week. After a month I leave it sit..covered by a tarp. Three or fours months it's ready to use. The other method I use is to make a big pile. Wet it and turn it with my tractor once a month and wet it. It stays there for a year at least. I will try a pipe as you have done. Fairly new to gardening. So I am still trying to get things working well. My young plants have three main problems. Catapillars, flea beetles and hoppers. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I hope to get a market garden going as soon as I have mastered growing good food. 🙂

Hi my friend. Thank for all your video. Simple and easyto understand. I am wondering do you make compost or worm tea for your garden?😊

Can't make enough compost. I feel like I'm in The Compost Business rather than The Growing Business. Farming is really just supply and logistics. Acquire a bunch of shit (sometimes literally - cow shit, chicken shit, horse shit ...) and haul/move it around from place to place.

if you added a 90 degree elbow and another piece of perforate pipe that goes to daylight would pull a lot more air thru the stack.

You should have told people about turning their pile to get it to heat up again

BEWARE: I had a tree service drop about 100 yards of wood chips in a pile. The pile caught fire because it was too big and was not turned. My idea was I would let the pile rest for 2 years and then use. Little did I know it could self combust from composting heat
