Great video! How long does it take to break down and become available? Can these fertilizers be added a few months before planting? Thanks!

When applying a mix of these natural fertilizers they all break down at different rates. Some fast, some more slowly. This helps provide fertility over a longer time frame. You could apply some about a month or so in advance of planting, then a bit more at planting. But go light on the early application. It'll break down and be providing nutrients as young plants go in the ground, but their root systems are still small, they won't be able to take up lots until they grow bigger. Too much, too early, may just be a waste.
