I enjoy your video's very much, and learn so much. I noticed in the background in the next field, what looks like those cuc-l-bur weeds growing very tall, soon to be drying up and spreading their seed. My question is, does that cause you any problems, with wind blowing those seeds into your beds? Thank-you for all you do.

I know he was in the background with the tilther. I think it is so important for children to be involved and also be mentored into adulthood in little doses.

Thank you for the video. I have purchased many of your tools and have enjoyed them immensely, especially the interchangeable wire/colinear hoes. Do you have any sort of time estimate per person and per square footage of what amount of time you are actually cultivating/weeding per week? It has been hard for me to develop a realistic expectation of this. Thank you. Just to clarify: Say you had 4000 square feet under cultivation. Do you have any estimate as to how long it would take a person to manage the weeds for that in a week?

On our farm, it would take 1.5 to 2 hours to cultivate 4K sf. In spring we cultivate every week and then is summer , once every three to four.

My worse weed is human. I e been here for 20 years and her 3. I've been totally over run I am no longer permitted to spend anyore than the minimum in the garden . Half my hoops are still on the ground I'm waiting time and energy if I work in my tools. All my time effort and money must go into her quail chickens ducks turkeys and goats. Her seven dogs run through my gardens and dig and break off stuff ,it is entertaining to her. Seed and tools are to expensive and take away from her animals. I am an idiot that doesn't understand that there is no value in growing vegetables. If I push I'm a narcissistic, self centered sob. I can't evict ,she has handicapped children protected by the ada over my own handicaps. Considering putting my farm of 20 years on the market. Maybe find an operation like your to volunteer for just to scratch the itch. I've always been like you and enjoyed systems and nice clean organization the caos my tools have hung on a wall like your set up for decades . I go to get them now and find them stuck in a fence laying in a pasture leaning against the wall of a coop. Or handles chewed off by the dogs and I'm the monster for being upset. I guess the point to this is everything you are teaching is excellent. Also important is who you let into your operation and how far you let them get a foot in the door.
