Ahti, I watch and rewatch your videos. I've always regretted not learning to work with wood when I was younger. At last! A project that fits my skill level! Christmas is coming. Thank you. Got anymore of that wine?.....

Great idea to save nature. Your Christmas tree is very beautiful. I would like to have one just like the one you made.

Stephanie Jarvis has a wonderful vidio of Taillin and the Christmas market, such a beautiful city. Her videos are called the Chateau diaries, it’s very uplifting vidio, and some great restoration projects, . Lovely idea for Christmas, I would love to give it a go myself, thank you for showing us your wonderful talents, regards Sandy

Big hands isn’t a match for small nail’s. In this case, size does matter 🙂 perhaps next time I find helpful to hold nail with a pliers before hammering down 😉

I like it. Easy to make. However, putting on the nails in appears to be the most time consuming. Worth the time.

My neighbor makes one of these every year, soon I will live next to the Christmas forest! However, he drills a hole for the light bulb, and pushes the light through each hole. The cord is all on the back this way. I do not know what happens if the lights burn out and the new light bulbs are a different size.

I'm surprised you didn't either attach a stand to it or make one for it. Instead of propping it up against something. With the small base it'll likely fall.
