Não acredito que você desmontou uma máquina SINGER, ela é jóia rara.

A most sincere congratulation in your restoration technique. I thoroughly admire the way you worked "with" what was presented to you instead of seeking to make it something else. Many would have gone for a glass-like finish but you allowed the tables heritage to be witnessed by the imperfections left on top a'la "distressed look". Was the detailing done with a paint or a stain? I was also curious as to why you only changed the leading edge of the top and did not trim-back to the relief. Was that to retain the character of the distressed leading-edge above the drawer? Thoughts?😊😊😊

Thank you so much for making this a little more of a “how to” video as opposed to just a cursory restoration video. I especially appreciate the notes indicating points of interest such as the different types of needles, knots, alignment tips, etc. It is inspiring me to consider tackling an upholstery project. I would love to see how tufted upholstery with buttons is done. Thanks again for a wonderfully instructive video!

Tere Ahti, tervitused Põhja-Karjalast 😊 I just purchased the weirdest old sofa I've ever seen... and intend to try to upholster it. May I ask, do you have a video similar to this, but about an old sofa? Or is the procedure same as here with the chair? Aitäh for your brilliant videos, always looking forward to them 🥰

Why any one would want to destroy a beautiful sewing machine like that? To make an unattractive table? I am sorry you are the best restoration artist on line so this is not a comment on your work. I would have loved to have a machine like that .

So your the guy that's showing people to use epoxy, I have never used epoxy, Tite-bond because that is what furniture industry used, at least where I worked. Grand Rapids, MIchigan and it used to be the furniture industry capitol back in early 1900's. Tite-bond has a longer work time.

I tried and failed but I bit off more than a mouthful. I'll try again on something smaller and work up.😮i wa5ch other people do this and find myself saying, "you secured that strap incorrectly..." , or, "your spring ties are tot properly shaped for that seat...' etc, but wheni tried i bollixed it up myself.😊 You always do such an incredible job! It doesn't look easy, exactly, but the whole process is so smooth i can get lulled into thinking that you make it look easy.... I'm babbling. A pleasure as always!❤❤❤
