We're decluttering and organizing all around my house! I need to work on some coat & cleaning closet organization, toy organization, bedroom declutter and all around tidy up my home before the holidays. I hope this gives you some motivation to do the same!

Best advice I ever got was "no organizing system or container will solve your problem, only...ONLY reducing your inventory will solve the problem" So so true.

I don’t think that’s always applicable. There are plenty of categories that are already as minimal as they can be but feel like clutter without a good organizing system. Toiletries are a great example of that. I don’t over-purchase or stockpile toiletries and hygiene products…but they’d be a mess & feel overwhelming without proper organization.

I just cleaned out my closet and drawers gave 3 large bags to good will and 2 bags to the trash looks so good thanks for the motivation 👍 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving!! Thanks for the motivation :) AN idea I got for my coat closet is a hanging over the door storage 5 pocket organizer. GAME CHANGER!!! Everyone has their own pouch to put their hat, scarf, and gloves plus an extra pouch for overflow. It came as a 2 pack, so the other one (on another door) holds some of my vac accessories, cleaning cloths, and other cleaning supplies. Just an idea. It really is helping our house :)

Our shelter asks us not to bring our kids. They take donations at the front desk and prefer to not make a spectacle of the moms & children who live there.

Oh you know what may work for an organizer for your gloves & misc. items - an over the door shoe organizer! I put one in our bathroom & I put all my toiletries in it, saves a ton of space!

Because of your decluttering videos I now donate to my womens domestic violence shelter instead of GW. Thank you for always sharing about donating there. I recently went thru my linen closet and had some many new products that I forget about do I put together a whole basket to take and my bosses mom did the same thing when I talked about it at work!

I was curious too about the tags being left on. And you could return them if they didn't work out for you. I also leave tags on things

Most of the time I just don’t think about it. I am very rigid with the way that I film so that I can ensure I have clips that flow well together. Stopping in the middle of working to cut a bunch of tags doesn’t even cross my mind. When I’m filming I’m in the zone.

I love how your spaces turned out! If you end up needing more room I. Your coat closet, when we lived in Colorado, I used a over the door plastic shoe holder , and kept all my kids mitten, gloves and hats in the shoe pockets. They could see them and grab and go. I would love to see a stocking stuffer idea video! Happy Thanksgiving!

@@lovinglifeasmegan you could most likely hold one of those hangers up with Velcro command hooks or something similar to that so you wouldn't see it from the outside.

Yes, I was thinking command hooks, just get the ones that will fit through the little holes on top and their mittens and gloves and hats shouldn’t weigh that much. I also stored all my vacuum attachments in the pockets too

They don’t have very strong smells, but they are all fresh & pleasant. Maybe you got a bad batch? I’d try reaching out to the customer service and requesting replacements.

I don't normally read comments but I noticed alot of comments regarding price tags lol. I leave my price tags on my things all the time. It's no big deal. My mom leaves tags on things too. We just helped put fall decorations away, at my parents, and there were tags on everything. 😊 It doesn't bother me. Sometimes people prefer to be negative. I love cleaning to these videos that Megan creates.
