I have freezer envy! My tip for clips is, always take the trouser/skirt hangers when you buy clothes. The clips are really strong and great for sealing freezer bags. Can't wait for the kitchen reveal. All the inconvenience and dust will be just a distant memory.....😊. Don't forget some of your plants will be perennials and the top growth may die but they will pop up again next year. Now is the time to plant some spring bulbs for flowers early next season.

Having been through an Extention reno the best advice regarding dust (especially brick dust) ect is clean clean clean every day if necessary for about a month and suddenly it does not come back as often eventually just normal dust Lovely vlog so pleased you got the kitchen of your dreams

Awwww Luke.......love your first piece of kitchen artwork is from my home city of Norwich 👍🏻 Colmans mustard was given the royal warrant in 1866 as manufacturers of mustard for Queen Victoria & apparently King Charles still uses it today! The kitchen is looking fab! So jealous of your separate huge freezers & fridge. We have the worlds smallest freezer at home too so I’m desperate to try and fit two separate ones into our kitchen Reno. Just a tip - if your cupboards don’t go all the way to the ceiling put some newspaper on the top of them. It will absorb any cooking grease & catch dust to stop the top of your cupboards getting all gross & you needing to clean them. Then you simply replace the dirty newspaper every few months :) I didn’t know this tip & it used to take elbow grease to clean them every few months 🤢

Good morning Luke and Zara, the kitchen is already beginning to look like a kitchen, as Zara said "everything that makes a kitchen, we have", she's so practical! Love to see Ivy again. Maggie must enjoy having her around so often. As you were showing us the descaler it came to my mind, haven't you considered installing a water descaler for the whole house? I installed one when I remodeled my kitchen. Your skin issues would be reduced, hair also gets healthier, the dishwasher and the washing machine would also benefit, you wouldn't need to use softener, which shortens the machine's life if it's not maintained properly. Can't wait for the final kitchen revial and your recent scape away. Have a great Sunday!

Fabulous video again Luke and Zara (and Maggie and Ivy)! I feel your pain 🙈 over the dust issue as that was the worst thing about our reno even though builders cleaned, tidied up and swept at the end of each and every day. It settled for what seemed like weeks. My advice would be to wipe wipe wipe at every opportunity, eventually you’ll be on top of it. Cannot wait for the tour video. Until then, take care of yourselves and have a good week 💛

Hi guys, love your vlogs Luke, they are now a part of my Sunday ritual. Currently still in bed cuddling one of my dogs with the other one at my feet❤. I am so looking forward to your kitchen reveal, the whole process seems to take forever, but so worth it . Please be careful when dealing with the dust in the house. Speaking from experience, l would suggest rather than dust, vacuum all the areas, shelves etc first and then go over again with a damp cloth. This will stop the dust flying into the air. It might be worth wearing a mask while you do this as you do not want to be breathing the dust in. Your house is old and some of dust etc has been there for a very long time and if breathed in can git you a nasty chest infection. Luke with your skin it could be anything that triggered it, dust, paint, products used in the installation process. I do hope it is improving though. You are both doing amazingly well during this exhausting process. Just take care of yourselves. Love to you both and hugs to the girls Maggie and Ivy ❤❤❤❤

Hi guys lovely to see you again this Sunday morning. I was so looking forward to this one thinking it would be a reveal so can't wait for next week's vlog. Zara blue is definately your colour it brings out the blue in your eyes. Luke your skin does look calmer but have you found out what triggered the reaction in the first place? Your excitement in this video when you went shopping was so funny,especially when Zara said food warehouse didn't know what was going to hit them🤣😂🤣. The new shelves look great and we get a little glimpse of what's to come in the reveal at the end of the video, where it shows a side on view of them. The side windows look fabulous now you have the overhead ones in. That corner would look nice with lots of indoor plants in it, maybe another shelf with plants trailing down, though youve probably already planned for that space.😃. Maggie and ivy are such lovely beautiful dogs and I loved their reaction to the new bed, so cute! Isn't it lovely that you can still sit outside and relax a bit at the beginning of october. Great that you've a new shed on the way. It's all coming together nicely! See you all next week👏
