I did flatbed a few days locally here in central Florida (coming from reefer) and I got to say much respect to you flatbed guys. Its hard work and I wasnt doing much compared to what you did in this video lol. Anyways I always enjoy your content as well as the superb camera quality and editing. May I ask what camera youre using to record with?
@delgadotrucking2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I use a Sony A7iii. However, the camera doesn’t come into play as much as the lens does for picture/video quality. The lens I use is a Tamron 28-75mm and the Sony 16-35mm.

Yesterday I saw a Melton truck going north on 47 in Yorkville, IL. It was hauling pallets of landscaping stones. Hoping someday I can drive for Melton. I'll be starting truck driving school the week of April 25.

My last few months at Melton I was forced to work 7 days a week. Not a single day off to do laundry, wash the truck, get groceries, forget about normal life stuff. Melton just wants their truck running 7 days a week like a robot. No human considerations for us to operate their truck and actually live like a human (stock groceries, laundry, truck wash, clean the interior). No days off. Work 7 days a week 9 hours a day. I stay out for 6 weeks at a time... How the hell... I talked to Melton about it. They don't care. Just run that truck 7 days a week!

You make your own time off here. You learn to work your clock and not let it work you.
@allenhanshaw92262 жыл бұрын
That's crazy cause when I worked at Melton I got a reset every weekend and I stayed out 6 weeks every time also. I'd always get a big mile load on Wed or Thursday and burn my clock up getting close enough to get a reset in there
@BTyler808 Жыл бұрын
You didn't have time when you're parked for the night to do laundry? I'm fine working 7 days a week. 6 weeks at a time. I have a family to care for.
