@ I love rabbits. I have five real ones in my living room. They get out to run in turns because I do not want babies. Two of them are Continental Giants and are huge. Another is an Angora. They have wonderful personalities and are able to communicate their needs quite well by various methods. I spoil them rotten and we are devoted to each other. I think if every house in the world had a pet rabbit, there would be no fighting. They love it when I sing to them. They are the only living beings that do. I’m glad to hear the rabbit decor comes out in the spring. I envision a rocking rabbit like the horses. I found your sight from Justine’s recommendation, and am loving it. This colonial style was very popular here in Southeast Virginia in the 80s and 90s. My mom, sister, cousin and several others l knew decorated in this style. I used to build antique reproduction furniture for them and do paintings in the primitive country style. Living near Colonial Williamsburg was a great source of inspiration.

She downsized after her husband died and for a while she was into the beachy style of decorating which l think she has since grown tired of. The house you showed is beautiful.

Absolutelt wonderful home! I lived in New England decades ago and we toured many historic Colonial homes. Even kept season passes for Old Sturbridge village and home some Colonial furniture. I would never have guessed it was a tri level. She did great with the decor. Does she volunteer or work as a Colonial interpreter? I love wrought iron kerosene floor lamp in the dining room WHERE can I get one? Thanks for showing us the house. Any chance we'll see it decorated for Christmas?

Thank you! She is retired and is a pastor's wife. We can't do Christmas because a magazine is coming in January to photograph the Christmas decor and she had to sign an agreement no video or photos of Christmas decor this year. I have no idea where the kerosene lamp came from. She's had a lot of her things for years.
