I live in Maine and have for most of my life. You were absolutely spot on about the window ac's. Most people are shocked that we don't use hvac systems here. This is likely one of the many reasons that people from other states also think Maine is "behind with the times" (although in a lot of ways, we are!). Your home here is beautiful! You did an amazing job (as always) on the remodel/refresh! ❤️

What a fun home tour! You have transformed each room and made it unique and beautiful. My favorite space was the room with the old Captain door, so-so cute! I loved your little red, white & blue kitchen. One change I would make is to paint the teal light...red! I don't think the teal looked like it belonged in that room. The home was lovely and I don't know how you didn't take certain decor items with you to your home in FL!!! ♥️💙♥️

Right on the lake but, Oh my Goodness...the nautical theme when we bought it was awful ( the house came as is) I agree with your lovely touches of nautical. Hi NataLee. This is so crazy I've passed this house a few times visiting Harpswell, Maine and never knew it was your house. My hubby is from all over since he grew up as a Army brat but Maine is what we call his home state. We try to visit often since some of his family still lives there. His dad has Alzheimer's and Dementia so we plan to visit again soon. You have a beautiful home. Love the kitchen.

Because of the area we live in, having a vacation rental is more profitable with less wear and tear in my opinion, and we have it professionally cleaned upon every check out so that way we stay right on top of it. So far, so good! Thank you for watching!

Hi, i only found your channel this week and have already watched so many of your videos and am now so inspired with ideas i really want to do to my own home. I love the idea of the stick on floor tiles with grout. Did you use any extra adhesive under the tiles to keep them from peeling up? Im on a budget and this seems like a great idea to finish my kitchen but im worries about them peeling up.

No. I didn’t add any extra underneath. I know people have done that but I have had no issues with this. I have found if you take a heavy rolling pen and roll it onto the ground it sticks very well. A couple of years now and no issues whatsoever.☺️💕 thank you so much for such a sweet message.
