Hi! I'm bringing you inside my home for a house tour and sharing a home tour of my thrifted and vintage finds for my home. There is a lot of thrifted home decor and vintage home decor. Our house is a mid century modern house and I have filled it with eclectic home decor that I found at thrift stores, vintage store and flea markets like the Rosebowl Flea Market as well as the Long Beach Flea Market. This tour is basically like a home decor thrift haul. I hope you enjoy taking a home tour with me of my favorite thrift and vintage finds.

I envision that your house smells like an antique store (personally, I find that smell to be very warm and welcoming). Amazing that you didn't spend a fortune on such a curated home. And it's kid friendly! The Hermes artwork would look amazing on the green wall in the entryway.

I think it would look best "next" to the Picasso, above the other landscape. I think the orange in each of them would compliment each other and it would fit perfectly in that empty space above the landscape.

An older French guy who lives in my apartment building said that a hotel that he used to go to in the south of france as a kid was a place Piccasso stayed at and he used draw on the tablecloths - maybe that's what you have.

I could not believe the deals you got! That marble table on Craigs for $30.00 is a steal! And the chairs were unbelievable! They matched your kitchen perfectly! The picture heart should go near the Picasso curtain. The colors are perfect! What great finds and a nice home tour! 👍❤️

The Hermès heart has to go with the Picasso! Love your home! I’m the same way with my house - I love that my trinkets and art pieces have stories, both that I can usually remember how/when/where I found them and from their prior life! Makes everything more interesting. The first couple of weeks of quarantine i spent moving some of the art around - it completely changes the house!

Yay!!! This is how I discovered you many, many moons ago when I found your original home tour that just OOZED personality, charm, quirkiness & a brilliant eye for design! It was such a sigh of relief! I get so tired of all the bland, cookie-cutter home tours that give endless shout outs to the same ol' Home Goods, Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.... nothing wrong with those stores, I just think folks should take a tip from you & look for pieces with a story! Curate your vibe without the big box stores' input! Learn the joy of hunting for treasures!!! This new home tour is yet another breath of fresh air! I am OBSESSED with your new dining table & those chairs, gahhhh!!! Loving the 80s aesthetic! I was born in '85 & despised that time period growing up but now have a new view & appreciation of the 80s/90s style, art & design

That lovely little hermes picture looks to me like it belongs with the Picasso. It brings out so much of the color and fun in that area, and it seems like it would take away from that dark and dreamy piece of the girl with it's brightness. However, some of my best home decor set ups have come from trying things that didn't look as though they would work at first. Thank you for sharing your home, it's so lovely but mostly because it's so YOU. It makes me want to look around my space and make it a place that speaks to me, not just follow the crowd.

I can totally relate to finding your identity when it comes to your home. I love mid-century, antiques, spanish style and its hard to have everything coincide. I’ve lived in my house for a year but still have a lot of the walls empty because i’m waiting to find the “right pieces” for each spot. I love to thrift and want all vintage/unique pieces and its harder to decorate that way as like you said you don’t find everything at once.

Again, jealous of all of your home decor finds! I hope to collect some pieces and accessories over time so by the time I get into my forever home (hopefully 5 years from now), I will have all that I need! I would suggest sewing (hand stitching) the Picasso fabric onto a pre-stretched canvas (like you can buy at Michaels) that is the same size or slightly larger. You need to stretch the material and make it look more like a painting. (do not staple, tack, or machine sew). The hanging looks a little droopy and doesn't do the fabric justice. I love your home and I do the same. I buy a lot of original artwork on marketplace and at Goodwill. I have beautiful pieces, most under $50. I have the print of the tree like the one at the top in your living room. You need to look him up. The print was done in the 70's and he has an interesting history. In fact, I try to learn about the artists if I can find them on line. Thank you for being so creative and interesting. I think the portrait you got of the blond woman could be you.
