The lavender is fab . Smells so nice , bees love it , comes back every year . The dahlias are gorgeous but the slugs love them . I've been know to be out with a flash light at night pulling slugs off . The best solution is a little container of beer under . I know this was filmed like last week at least . Hope the dahlias aren't completely eat . I also think you would love hostas . I've two kinds , they come back every year and there very like the indoor plants you like .

Having been here since before you ever even left your parents.. I have to say I am so thrilled for the space that your life is existing in at this point. You've always been so consistent with us. But I know for you it's been quite a journey. Moving out, having roomates, losing roomates, (not completely of course). Learning to be alone (gosh I know how that feels), decorating, developing a (totally normal ((I have 96)) obsession with houseplants, and just learning to exist. The hardest thing in life I swear... Is learning to just exist in the beautiful space you have created. There's always more right? But what we have right now is also beautiful. Goodness gracious I am so very happy for your happiness ❤

For the plants on the south side: Water them!! Alot! Multipel times a day when it's sunny. (Ofc check that the dirt is dry before watering. Wouldn't want any mold.. but water!) And maybe check that they are not in direkt sunlight all day. Some plants survive it or even flurish in it. But for most plants some shade is preferable. So nice and calm vlog! ❤ Really enjoyed it!

Loved this! As for tips, you've probably already planted them by now but for future outdoor plants, always make sure to break up the roots a bit with your hands so they can take in water and nutrients better and get pots with good drainage. If they don't have a hole to drain then you can use some stones which you lay down underneath the soil. Maybe keep those ones where they won't get so sodden with rain. I do that when there's a really pretty pot I want to use but it sadly doesn't have a hole + can't be drilled to make one. Slug pellets are great to keep those suckers away from your plants because they WILL eat them, just sprinkle a few around in the soil. Oh and always water more than you think you need to when you first plant, that's when it's most important! Often the roots are really dry when you buy them.

Wow, great vlog, Cherry! You were hiking with a boyfriend... what! 😮 Good for you, congrats! So glad you graduated in therapy. I've only been going for a bit more than a month. My need is situational not internal, so just trying to work through a stressful situation. Seeing light at the end of the tunnel. "Not a thief"! Plant pieces on the floor are like picking up trash and deciding to keep it for art or something. Happy gardening. I read through some of the other comments and you seemed to have lots of good advice for the plants you have. If you are serious about outdoor gardening in pots, you should get some larger pots and find out what perennials will winter over and come back each year. Some great choices would be daffodils, crocuses and hyacinths for early spring, and irises, columbine and alyssum for mid spring to early summer. Geraniums and myrtle will bloom in spring and continue through summer as long as they get watered regularly, at least in the US. Good luck with the gardening and the new relationship. Love and peace.

HPCW OG follower since who knows when lol! Totally in awe with your manifestation and moving forward and upwards with your happiness Cherry! I know!!! WEEDS are the mosquitos of the Earth Mothers/Daddys alike! Just a tip for weeds from one Green Thumb Mom to another, for weed critters, Make a saltwater solution of 3 parts water and 1 part salt, and mix together. Pour this saltwater solution between your patio slabs. As the weeds start to die, pour some dry salt over areas where there are lots of weeds Good for the environment and ozone friendly!!! And May your union be blessed and bloom like your plant babies. Also, as you mentioned, keep your other half to yourself, I know you learned from your previous partnership not to go through that again. Rise and SHINE CHERRY and Be Well!!!

A few things I want to wright to you: 1. Happy for you and I wish you a long and happy relationship. You totally deserve it for being the sweet human that you are. ☺️ 2. No, you are not a thief. That little plant fragment would've become trash for sure instead of having the chance to become a full grown plant. I went through a similar situation and was super self conscious if I should take the leaf or not and a sweet person (sent from above) appeared out of nowhere and explained to me the exact thing I wrote above. 🙂 3. Bookshelves with doors so dust doesn't get in are my favourite! Love them and frankly I need to buy me some. I've seen some beautiful ones at Ikea even tho I'm not an Ikea furniture person. 😅 4. I love having lavender bushes indoors because they smell divine! My mum was skeptical, but I bought lavender one afternoon when she wasn't at home so, when she came home all tired she fully enjoyed the scent and now she loves lavender indoors. 😁 5. It's been quite a while since you've shown us your cat. Hope everything is well in that department. 😸 All the best to you! Bye! 👋🏻

The lavender will love South facing but will need a bigger pot. Water everything regularly if you south facing. But once the garden is in shade or once the sun goes down to avoid scorched leaves. Thyme rosemary etc love south facing. Think drought tolerant for south facing. Good tip though. Most plants need repotting. Most will be root bound and need the space. The do it deliberate. To make them more enticing to buy. Alot of plants like that can be split also. Just Google the plant and splitting instructions. Then you get more plants and healthier ones, that are less crowded. And propagate your lavender. So easy 😁 good luck and enjoy gardening. P.S. tomatoes are a nice easy fun crop you can grow in containers and would love south facing too

Love this video, love books and plants and hiking! Some of those plants are annuals so will die as they only last a year like the dahlia (some times if you bring them in in winter they might come back the year after but no promises) and some are perennials which is only really your lavender meaning that’s probably going to be the only one that’ll last past the year, if you can pot them up as well they’ll do better because they will then have space to grow. The gendered backpack thing is more to do with the shape and the straps because chests and boobs etc. Hope this information helps 😊

I am working on "S"/Ship of Theseus. What did you think of it? The lavender is meant to go in the ground, but be aware that it is quite the sturdy shrub and grows fairly large. You could probably split what you have and put some on each side of your patio. I'm not familiar with dahlias, but they're lovely. Petunias don't winter over as far north as you are, so they will definitely die off unless you decide to bring them inside before the first frost.

Cherry future tip for killing weeds on your patio so that they do NOT come back. Boil the kettle/get a jug of boiling water. Then with said jug of boiling water pour it over the weeds. The boiling water will scorch and kill the weeds (then once they are dead you can pull them up) so they shouldn’t grow back in that same spot again.
