I like the way you do the pocket liners and also like the way you pull the cloth to the side pocket to give you some cloth to work with later. Don't understand the haters. Thanks for the video.

This was a great and professional video that is easy to understand. I've seen installers using Polymat 777x glue for better adhesion than regular spray glue.

Good clean work - Thanks man for making this! It's not cheap to have cloth put on! But with your help people can now at least have a fair shot at a professional looking install on there own. Wish i had seen it years ago as i have passed up many of cloth jobs in fear lol. It's really not that bad at all. Just gotta take your time and think before you staple ;) thx again

@Odhinn222 The spot is used to protect the cloth under the One ball and should be changed before it wears out. The wear and tear is from the impact of breaking and people that 'tap' the one ball to get a tight reack. If you didn't have a spot, a whole would wear through in no time. If you notice all the white/wear spots from behind the head string, these are actuall bald spots from the cue ball taking off from a stand still plus some downward force on the cue ball from the break.

Stretching the cloth to the playing surface removes any wrinkles from the packaging. Essentially when he showed the foot and head of the table stapling is how you do the rest of the surface felt. As for the remaining flaps at the side pockets for the rails you trim to fit neatly so there isn't any flaps pushing out the pocket gully or sticking out where it is visible. Some people will also use the spray glue super 77 to adhere the felt for the stretching part of putting the felt down on the edge

I guess it doesn’t matter which side goes up or maybe it does and if it does how can you tell which side goes up if it’s not marked on the cloth pretty simple question probably the only question that anybody would ask in putting a pool cable cloth down.
@onemoremisfit Жыл бұрын
The cloth comes with a sticker on it to tell you which is the top side, and yes it does matter, the top side and the underside are very different. A professional installer does not need the sticker to tell which is the top side, but it's there as a reminder for anyone else who might not know.

I would like to see a the rest of the bed cloth installation including demonstration of cutting and stapling the bed cloth into the pockets. Overall this is the best series on the internet but this one is funky cuz it isn't complete. And it excludes exactly what I want to see bummer!!

I have one pocket on my pool table, that for some reason, just won't except balls that touch the rail first. It's a corner pocket, the same shot on any other table or even the other three pockets on my table will except the exact same shot. I've measured the pocket and looked at it under a microscope and I just can't figure out why it acts like this. It's really irritating and I was wondering if anyone else out there has ever run in to a similar situation. Is there any way to fix this problem? The pockets are fairly tight, but they aren't triple shimmed or anything. A ball shot at this pocket will jaw where the same shot at the other three pockets will go in. You can't cheat this pocket. What in the name of holy hell is going on?
@joeygonzo10 жыл бұрын
The down angle of the shims/pocket opening should be around 13-15 degrees. If it has no angle, it will spit balls out .
