COLOR FORMULA 1: OVERALL LIGHTENING AND ADDING LOWLIGHTS
LIGHTENER: Schwarzkopf Igora Vario Blond Lightener 2 scoops with 30 volume and 3/4 Olaplex bond multiplier.

LOWLIGHT: 2 ounces of Redken Shades EQ 6GB Toffee Color Gloss with 2 ounces of Redken Shades EQ Gloss Processing Solution.

1. Mix lightener and low light in separate bowls. Make sure if your client has very fragile ends to mix another bowl of 10 volume for only the ends so you don't damage them by using 30 volume!

2. Section hair from ear to ear and clip away the back section leaving a tiny slice for a babylight.
3. Weave a babylight at the base of the neck to give your client the look of lightened hair when they pull their hair up into a ponytail.
4. Begin balayaging V sections horizontally across the head. Make sure to completely saturate the ends.
5. Using a brick lay pattern, apply your lowlight right next to your balayage. Take a quarter inch section and completely saturate from root to ends.
Repeat this pattern all the way up the back and on the sides.
PHASE 2: HAIRLINE POP
Once that's complete take your client back to the bowl and smudge the rest of your lightener on their hairline. Make sure to completely saturate. Take a comb and lightly comb through. Let it sit for 2 minutes.

PHASE 3: ROOT SMUDGE AND TONER
Rough dry your client 100% and section her hair where she normally parts her hair. This is very important!
COLOR FORMULA 2: ROOT SMUDGE AND TONER
ROOT SMUDGE - 1 ounce of Redken Shades EQ Color Gloss Hair Color 05N + 1 ounce of Redken Shades EQ Equalizing Conditioning Color Gloss 06GB + 2 ounces of processing

TONER: 2 ounces of Wella Color Charm Liquid Creme Haircolor T-14 + 2 ounces of 10 volume. Apply at the bowl so you can monitor the color.

1. Apply the root smudge all over the root. Comb through with a wide tooth comb every which way to make sure it looks natural and blended.
2. Bring client back to the bowl and apply Wella T-14 all over her hair from root to ends. If the color doesn't spread easily add a little bit of water on your clients hair to help it evenly coat her hair.
Let color process for 8 minutes, or until you like the color.

Did you wash off the root smudge before applying the t-14 or did you do it while the root smudge was still on ?

I do! I'll like the one I have below this message. I really love it but for now I'm just using my bathroom sink to put my shampoo on or the side of the tub. How do you like working from home? Do you want to open your own salon one day? I'm hoping to open my own salon in about 2 months. Daniella Benita I love working from because I have little one and it gives me the opportunity to be a mommy and work and yes maybe one day my husband is in the military so we move around a lot .. I was also thinking of buying a shampoo chair that I use now is not the best but it gets the job done
