The Nymane reading/stand light is also great. Looks simple, but when you have it in a cosy living room as a simple, sleek reading light, it really works as a stylish element.

Precious Mars is a very snoozy boy! You are so lucky to have him in your life and family. I can't pick a favorite, but I can say that I agree 1000% with the dislike of the Edison light bulb and the love for the warm glow of the milky light bulb and cover. It's elegance at it's best. I have the Forsa lamp in shiny chrome on my desk. It's pretty and works well. It looks much more expensive than $25 US!

I would avoid them .. they feel cheap and they have this odd recognized by everybody as the cheap lamp everone has. Go for the Regnskur / Sunneby round lamp instead, with textile.

what about the Ikea Jetström? I have seen it online and it looks super bright and big that it must shine a very uniform and soft light

There's a semitransparent/greyish FADO, too. Looks great. Seems out of stock in my country though.

@@HomeByMon - Yes, if I decided I was willing to spend that much for a nice looking lamp, I would also consider what people are selling on second hand vintage and antique furniture websites, FB marketplace, etc.

The last lamp I really like. However you have to see what type of bulb that they use. Some light bulbs in this type of lampare expensive. And you can't touch it with your hands because it could cause the light bulb to not work anymore. I like that lap as long as it Uses the normal light bulb. Because certain different types of light bulbs are so expensive

To reduce glare on iPad or laptop screen. Buy an IKEA floor lamp with brightness levels adjustable smart light bulb (cool daylight temperature), where light bulb hover 90 degrees above the vertical standing iPad screen. Consider a diffused lighting plastic sheet (human safe)? Turn off the ceiling room light, so the light from the ceiling doesn’t cast reflective glare on iPad screen due to light angles.This may max global productivities in learning and work by billion+ dollars per day over Earth’s remaining lifespan.

The major mistake in the presentation is they did not have the spelling of the lamp names. The presenters accent made it impossible to understand what the actual spelling would be
