This looks so delicious! I love to cook, and I am a real chef at home, I can cook anything, but I do want to learn to make more Jewish recipes. I am definitely going to make this too with a delicious Jewish dessert and bread. Thank you for the wonderful recipe, from America. 😊😊

How can this be Jewish if you are mixing butter with meat?
@fandia64542 ай бұрын
I'm asking too, because in this Video they mix diary with meat 🤦
@OneFabFisherАй бұрын
This tasted great, I made it (minus the butter). It could be Jewish but it is not Kosher to mix butter (cow,goat or sheep milk) with meat. So, if the Chicken was Kosher (which is great because it was humanely slaughtered), mixing it with butter isn't UNLESS the butter is not derived from dairy, like some cheeses. Some Jews see the scripture of not cooking a baby lamb/goat in its mothers milk as strictly a command against animal cruelty. Rabbinic Judaism takes it to a high degree of complete separation between meat and milk . Some Sects of Judaism will not go to that degree of separation, so, this would be Kosher for them since it is more about how the meat was slaughtered.

Just don't use butter...
@tararasque9329 ай бұрын
Absolutely MUST use oil instead of butter, and the blood has to be drained out of the chicken a certain way. Otherwise you might as well be cooking a beef steak and calling it 'Hindu Meat.' I'm sure this is yummy, but it is NOT 'Jewish.'

There are differences between Progressive and Orthodox Judaism.

@homechef626 what is progressive? What's next pork dish or shellfish dish? The Torah forbids the cooking and consumption of any milk with any meat to prevent one from cooking a kid in its mother's milk.
