You addressed the emergency shutoff if it tips - How stable it is? at first glance, it looks top-heavy - wonder if there is a way to inexpensively shore up the base of the tank - maybe sit it inside a milk crate? Cheers

I’m glad you did this video Sir I’m also trying to heat my garage. I purchased a 80,000 btu propane heater it sits on the floor and it has a rubber gas line that feeds it from the propane tank. However OH MY dose it drink the propane so now I’m looking for another way to heat the garage. Something cheaper maybe a waste oil heater or a 55 gallon drum setup. Idk 🤷‍♂️ but propane is definitely not a option for me also I’m in the northern part of Michigan so it gets COLD 🥶. Sometimes the garage will be colder than outside because it’s insulated. It acts like a freezer box so I definitely have to figure this out. But all that aside your review was interesting and fun to watch.

I just got one of these. My brother and I are going to install some off road lights in my truck. My 600 sq foot garage with 10 foot ceiling is insulated, but plenty of ventilation. I figure this heater should make it good and warm. The plan is to run it 20 minutes on high, then turn it to the lowest setting, or off, then go and work in the garage. No roar like a salamander. Just quiet, face-melting heat.

Dan I like that heater . It could also be used for emergency backup heat . with our weather going crazy who knows where the next power outage will be. Also did you carve the Indian head on top of your refrigerator. Its beautiful.

@@HomeInTheSticks just in case someone has the same issue it was because I was lighting it the way the instructions say not to lol. I put the flame in the mixing holes above where the propane comes out. If you put the flame next to the heater inside of the cage (where it turns red when hot) and push the red button it will light and work perfectly. I replaced the tip over switch for 10 dollars. Thank you for the response.
