Thanks for the video. What was the temperature in your garage before firing up the heater? What size is your garage?

The initial start up was not smooth, I could get the top to lite but not the sides, finally after about 15 minutes of scratching my head, I put my finger over the side port to allow the scensor to heat up, and that did the trick, no problems since it works great and heats the garage really well.

If you're outside working on an RV or your car or whatever, wouldn't a directional heater make more sense? Why would you want to radiate most of your heat in other directions besides where you are? This seems better for heating, say, a tailgste party or large albeit well-ventilated enclosed spaces like a work garage.

Actually the heater head only articulates 45 degrees

Not 90 degrees at most 45, if 90 it would be laying completely horizontal

Hi Carl, thanks for watching. It's +45 degrees to -45 degrees from center for a total swing of 90 degrees. You are correct the lowest it can go is 45 degrees above horizontal. Thanks for asking. I think your question will help clarify for others.

The heat from this thing only goes straight up.... it makes for a good hand warmer, but without any kind of deflector over it the heat is all going up to the ISS I couldn't even feel the heat 1 foot to any side of this unit! Very disappointed.... going to try to find some way to make a deflector for mine I bought just days before this Arctic Texas Freeze we just went thru in Jan 2024! Arghhh! It was useless out in my yard. Note: any breeze will blow this thing out I discovered.

If you ask me it doesn't even look like it's cold out there I didn't see no smoke coming from your mouth the young lady you was with seems like she wasn't really laughing it's what we call pretend then you have no hat on that thin jacket isn't zipped up you have a flannel shirt that's not button up at the top I.was thinking it's just a typical cool day like around 60-65 degree outside then if you all standing together you should of had the heater facing the both you it's a good heater but if I wasn't doing my research and saw this video I definitely wouldn't want it
