EXACTLY. He is someone who you keep ALMOST feeling bad for. You ALMOST want to pat him on the back for the tragic shit he went through. You ALMOST can say he's a victim... Only for this same guy to actively harm everyone and anyone. He chose to rape Becca. He chose to force that girl to commit suicide. He chose letting EVERYONE on the plane die rather than saving a couple. He chooses to berate and bully his team to extreme degrees. He chooses to do fucked up shit and it always reminds you that despite what he's gone through, he CHOOSES to be evil. He was not "made" evil, he actively knows he's doing fuck shit and just goes deeper in on it.
