it’s a terrible misrepresentation of the context that it’s no how these characters would remotely even act like. 1. The girls have a no kill rule, not as strict as Batman, but as loose as Superman’s. They’ll kill if they have too. But not with epically for weaker opponents. I know it’s Buttercup whom killed him, which makes more sense, but she too still holds back when fighting criminals even in a place where she’s emotionally triggered or determined. 2. Homelander out of nowhere deciding to pick a fight with the girls isn’t something he would do. Homelander isn’t the strongest, but he’s not stupid. He’s actually really cunning given his intelligence, so he’d realize a direct attack on the girls isn’t the smartest decision. Great art. But a terrible understanding of the characters at hand respectively.
