I know this is a older vid, seems like things are going better for you now judging from your recently uploaded video. I did see a union woman speak about airlines paying flight attendants poverty wages, whereas they are offering pilots well over six figures to start. I researched this and I'm speaking of Regional's too. 20+K annually would not even pay bills in 1970! Absolutely unacceptable. All of you flight attendants work so hard and probably endure many unpleasant passengers, long days, lack of proper rest, etc. It seems in order to make a decent living you need decades of seniority. I think everyone that flies as a passenger should watch videos like this and read comments from your colleagues, and think about the ultimate respect you all deserve the next time they fly. God Bless you!

Could you possibly find a Cheap airbnb for the nights you'll be at base? I'm sure you've already checked but I thought I would put it out there ...
@jordanfontes72693 жыл бұрын
Just watched this video. Are the crash pads located at the base cities? Sounds awfully expensive, for the amount of time you're there.
@thalexinator50503 жыл бұрын
It really is. Crashpads are a rip off. You’d be better off renting and having your own apartment to leave and come back to. Unfortunately regional pay does not support that 🥲
@leslieschaffer24953 жыл бұрын
How are you doing now? If you can’t afford a crash pad could you maybe stay at a hostel the few nights a month that you need a bed?

Did you hear Walmart is coming out with insulin of like 28-78$ per vial? You should ask a Walmart ´s pharmacist, and your doctor. To see if it could be changed to that generic insulin- if it would work for you.
@thalexinator50503 жыл бұрын
Nah, it isn’t good for you. And it’s not fast acting insulin. Sometimes cheap isn’t good, and in this form I don’t think it is. But thank you! I appreciate it

This is what happens when people are elected who only care about themselves and corporations. It’s shameful to listen to those claiming to do otherwise is the work of Carl Marx, when clearly it is not. I wish you well, sorry to hear that the pay structure is so poor and I follow another FA who lives in her van, in large part for this reason and she is with a major airline. All the result of deregulation and union busting in 1980.
