Absolutely right! CNA’s should be much better paid. I shared a hospital room with a young CNA who’d been shoved by some creep down a flight of stairs. She had to have three surgeries to repair her leg and hip. She worked at a combination rehab/nursing home. After discharge, she needed at least a month in rehab, but she couldn’t go to the place she worked. It didn’t accept its own insurance! Instead, she was sent to a facility that was rated deficient in all areas. After ten days, she was rushed back to the hospital with an infected incision, on the verge of sepsis. She’d had exactly two 20 minute sessions of physical therapy. I kept in touch for a while. Last I heard she and her husband were living in Idaho with her mother. She was in school for some sort of computer training as she could never go back to CNA or a physically demanding job. Her husband lost his job back in NY for too much time absent caring for her. They had to sell their house and file bankruptcy, hence the move to her mother’s place. He was working again, but made nowhere near enough to even think of getting their own place. Her husband had made his mother-in-law’s den, half the double garage, and a half bath into an apartment.

Told me too much money $40 over allotment to qualify for utility assistance my food stamps from 180 went down to $23 a month it isn’t worth the plastic car they’re on. But if I came over the border not a citizen and came over illegally I would get cash cards snap benefits cell phone computer transported to a location of my choice within the US etc. free of charge. Citizens get kicked out of their homes lose it to foreclosures Homes get occupied by illegals Squatters and we have the streets to live in.

There’s got to be a church you can visit, get involved in a Bible Study and prayer group to meet people and find resources to help you out. Food banks have resources, too.

Yes. I think a go fund me could help. A van would make a world of difference. She can get out to find work and sleep in it at night. It's much safer.

Wow what a thought I just was thinking this yesterday my theory was they get a building the goal is to fill it so use the Bible as a backup or backdrop and brainstorm how to brainwash for money give back to the community if that once a year with party of some type and nothing like feeding weekly or ongoing, clothing store free clothes for community, no school clothes for kids, no shelter for DV women. I have been in church all my life and felt something was off and what??? I see the scriptures now so new and differently church brainwashing people it’s a money grab everything in the Bible is about individual growth one on one with God read it read it - the congregation is a different game see it for what it is and you will see the world I’m not saying church is bad I’m saying go in with your own mindset and know God First. Ain’t no reason we should have a million black churches in America and blacks in a position of having not equality like other groups really
