Anyone of us can end up homeless at any point. I have walked in those shoes and there is nothing more frightening than not knowing where you will sleep, eat, work. This global problem is growing like a cancer.

I used to work In the Peter McCann hostel at Kyle st . and the council closed it and demolished it along with a few more as I have been away for years I have not seen any of the hostel client's so sad the guy's were all brilliant and people reading this you would not believe what back grounds people came from

I object to the Eastern Europeans begging and pretending to be homeless, its a disgrace. In Hamilton and Motherwell you wont find a Scottish person selling the Big Issue as they have been threatened off their pitch by the Eastern Europeans.

Quick update on Sean Burns the homeless protagonist in this video. Shortly after this shoot Sean was spotted by legendary director Philipe Des Montifiore and cast as Oscar Wilde in his rom- com/horror film Legends of Dross ; subsequent positive reviews have propelled Sean into the A list of performers and he is now on a shortlist with Brad Pitt, Oliver Scrunt and Horace Mills to play Marvel superhero Duvetman in the forthcoming movie of the graphic novel Streets of Tedium. Sean is currently residing in Cannes with his girlfriend Pamela Dunt the Victorias Secret model and heiress to the multi-billion Grandfare empire.

This is still a big problem. Glasgow City Council was in the first stage of being taken to court by Shelter Scotland. This was because the the council was illegally refusing to give temporary housing.

A type of application for social housing available to homeless people. Typically a lot more quickly processed than applications made by those with some type of housing.

I was sleeping rough when this documentary was made. Nicola sturgeon walked about the streets one night for photo ops. She made a load of promises but did fuck all. Rough sleepers can't vote. I got my own place not long after but that was after being homeless from the age of 16 to 25. I never got to be a young girl. I've been gang raped, robbed, beat up for no reason through being homeless. You get people who buy you food and you're so hungry you eat without question, say a McDonald's or something, 99% of these people are genuinely trying to help. 1% will watch you eat then laugh and tell you they've spat in it or something
