❤️. This recipe… hint- Alway preheat your cast Iron, grease after heated, then add biscuit or bread dough, back in oven quickly, then bottom’s will be crunchy!

I love this recipe actually I make home made biscuits as well. I use crisco buttermilk and white Lily selfrising l flour and I notice that blueberries was added with the batter I love it I'm going to make it real soon.

I saw this recipe a couple of weeks ago and have made them twice. I get nine biscuits, but what I want to say, is these are the best biscuits ever. What a delightful treat for breakfast, lunch, or snack. I may make plain biscuits for other reasons. These are a delicious game changer. You guys try these. You will be happy you did.

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy! You made this look so easy that I got right in the kitchen as I had all the ingredients. Like you, I got a bit too much buttermilk in my flour so kneaded flour into the dough. These were SO tender! Maybe the extra buttermilk combined with the blueberries caused some steam which made for a tender, almost cake like crumb? Not sure but so easy and delicious. Making more today for strawberry short cake. Thank you for teaching me to make biscuits.
