Is the top speed, motor power or gearing. Question would a higher gear give more speed?? and is that high gear suitable for hill at 8kph, one gear only has limitations, example a low gear with a top speed of 8 kph would pull up a steep hill no pedals, a high gear might do more tha 27kph in easy going circumstances. A change and choice of gears is a great value, rarther than just a single gear.

12vx7ah=84 wattsx2 = 168 watts. so run a 250watt motor for 35 min. in practice likely 25 mins. a 250 watt motor is never going to give much speed. far to small batteries and motor
