Yes my husband would be mad that dinner wasn’t on the table exactly the minute he walked through the door but he never came home at exactly the same time, it could be 5:30 to 9:30pm. I would say well if you would tell me when you were coming home I would try but he refused to cooperate and wouldn’t talk to me either, he was just grumpy all of the time. When we got married he wanted me to quit my job at a dental office, then we had two children which we agreed it was important for me to raise them, help with their schooling and always be home when they came home but then he started being angry because I wasn’t bringing in money. Our daughter grew up to be a doctor and our son became an engineer so I think they turned out good. Many times when he pulled that I said well I forgot to thaw the meat and I didn’t know when you were coming so nothing is fixed,we need to go out to dinner. I guess if he wouldn’t have been so hard to get along with I wouldn’t have got stubborn. He came down with cancer and for two years I fixed three home cooked special meals everyday and he was still nasty everyday even when dying. Never once was he nice or loving or grateful for what all we did, never said it was good.

@@WhippoorwillHoller hahahaha... That's funny. I enjoyed your video in the garden the other day... I sure wish that I had all my raised beds up. I purchased a planter augur this year and going to hook it up to the drill... instead of trying to till a bigger garden through all the rocks in the ground, I am just going to drill a hole, amend the soil and plant... cut a hole in the weed barrier and mulch around it with some straw to kill off the grass and weeds! Young people need to notice and see how respect ,kindness , and love makes it all work when it comes to a long lasting marriage . For corn, I use frozen corn and I put it on a baking sheet to roast it for abit in the oven, I like to make a salad with corn, black beans onion, peppers, celery, zucchini and yellow squash( blanched), with a lime vinaigrette cilantro and serv it on a bed of chicken, lettuce, avocado and jalapeno on top. For my chicken I use a little achiote to cook the chicken with. It makes the chicken really red to go with the spices.
