A simple little jug idea, we use it and it works great. Just get you the larger pool noodles cut them into about a 3 separate foot section. Use the black trot line from Walmart into 7-9 foot of line. Put a hook on there weightless. Use cut up bluegill. We catch ‘em real good that way and have never had a problem. Love the videos boys

Best thing I have found for jugging big cats, is the hiC gallon jug with the carry handle. Tie to the handle with a strong line, a good swivel, a big hook, and medium size crappie or large bluegill

If you want to catch really big catfish, use whole live bream for bait. Like a 5-6 inch bream, trim their tail and one side fin so that can't swim fast or straight. Check the regulations because a lot of places only allow you to use bream when fishing with a rod/fishing pole, and don't allow them to be used on jug or troutlines. I've done A LOT of catfishing in my life, and using larger live bream with trimmed tails for bait is how I caught the largest catfish I've ever caught. That big catfish you caught can eat a 1lb bream with no problem at all. Congrats on the new PB.

You want to get big catfish you need to come over to Iowa. that's big but only a monster if it was a blue channel cat. They pull 80+ lbs cats out the water here on ditty poles. I saw a dried up head nailed to a tree from one that was as wide as my shoulders and I'm not a small guy at 6'1.

I've been chasing Wiper/ hybrid white bass lately and it's been a huge struggle. One of my only solace is wiper fishing content. I've heard of good wiper fishing in Nebraska and wonder if you'd be interested in helping scratch an itch. As you probably already know, they will eat a lot of the same things a bass will take. You can use worms, minnows (live or dead), or mussel meat for bait. Lastly, they make for a great catch and cook with a decent size to yield ratio. Nor to mention, one of the hardest fighting, pound for pound, freshwater fish in the US.

When you put the chicken livers on the hook and in position wrap it in elastic thread and it won’t come off the hook. Great video love your content keep it up!

32oz wide mouth drink bottles. Take the cap off, let them dry, spray bright colored ground marker paint inside, let them dry again. Rig them however you want tied around the neck of the bottle. Put the rigging in the bottle and screw on cap for transport! Work great last for forever.

FYI, the cheat code for keeping chicken livers on the hook. Use panyhose tie a knot in the bottom then the liver then a knot in the top. Insert the hook and your ready to fish. I can't take credit for that learned it from a friend in Oklahoma.

Flair, for catfish floats/jugs, go to the kids swimiing section and get 3 or 4 foam noodles. Then cut them into quarters or thirds, run the line up through the middle and tie into a large bobber or stick. This works as good if not better thsn the ones that got lost. Otherwise, grab some Walmart brwnd gallon water jugs and pour out the water. We always super glued tbe lids on and then tied up to these. Hope this helps and good luck on getting your monster catty

I have told you multiple times to buy magic thread for holding on bait to hooks it costs like 3$ for a 100 ft which with last a couple yrs. Use it to hold shrimp on the hook as well

Use Danny kings also a tip get hotdogs and cut into 2" pieces and slid the shank of your hook through them and then place in the oven or put in the sun till they half dry out. They will stay on the hood for hours we run trot lines and still have them on the next day. Also catfish are attracted to spicy stuff

We used pantyhose for catfishing. Anything that might fall off or get taken off the hooks. The pantyhose has real small mesh and the bait doesn’t dissolve any you can dip it in blood or stinky lure. Just cut a square put the bait on it and gather all the edges and tie with string or tie it over your finger. Make them about the size of a golf ball. Just a thought. Good luck.
