@@Farmscrap1183 Absolutely!!! We need to stay in touch. I have been searching for a self propelled hyaline project piece that I can mount a Ford Ranger 6 cylinder with air conditioning in it and enough lights to see an entire field to do at midnight...

I like that you built all that. People saying "too slow " probably just bought their splitters at the store

Yes and spent 10 grand on it also I like your ram splitter

@redoakridgefarm4612 thanks!! It does ok for my operation for now. I really want a vertical splitter someday, but can't justify the cost of an Axis or 17VS right now. Maybe someday though

Just a tip I learned... if you have a big round that doesn't split all the way on the first shot. If it lands flat when you tip it back, just send it thru the splitter like that (side split). Much easier than standing the big heavy round back up. Just make sure you have the wedge lined up on the initial split and send it!

That’s a sweet setup man. That conveyor is working great!

Hey,,, little tip that I do with the big rounds. If they don't split all the way on the first pass, when you tip them back if they land flat just send it while laying flat. (Side split) Much easier than trying to stand the big heavy round back up! Works best of you are pushing it at least into the initial crack/split

Don't think I've ever seen any body work so for so few pieces of wood. That cycle time is atrocious. The conveyor look lonely.

Still way faster and easier than a box store splitter
