Homemade Strawberry Jam Recipe !!Fresh Strawberry Jam Without Preservatives ||Ep:321

Ingredients
Strawberry-1kg
Sugar-2cups
Salt-
Lemon Juice-1tbsp
Method
Puree washed strawberries and pour this to a big bottomed kadai.
To that add sugar and stir and allow to melt in low flame.
Now increase the flame to medium and allow the jam to thicken.
It will take around 30- 40 minutes.
Then add a pinch of salt ..
When it becomes thick add lemon juice and mix well..
Allow to cool down ..
Then transfer to a sterilized glass bottle and keep in the fridge ..
Enjoy after cooling down.

Hello Veena....I tried this strawberry Jam yday and it was YUMMMMM !!!!!!!We had it for breakfast this morning and the satisfaction I had....just the thot that I MADE it and everyone luvd it. Ty Veena ❤ It was a bit sweet for me but ure rite ; for kids they wudnt have had it if it wasnt that sweet.....😂 We went to a strawberry farm ere in Perth, WA and we; including my twin 3 year olds; handpicked these strawberries ourselves....so the Jam felt even more sweeter coz we did all the hardwork :).... No more store bought jams for us...we r goin the old fashion way... Ty Veena again :). God bless

Firstly, Strawberry should be chopped in pieces. Blending the pulp is individual choice. While cooking the piece get dissolved due to heat. Secondly, It is not mandatory to remove the foam from the mixture. Also it is advisable to add half lemon juice for 1kg strawberry. The critic helps the mixture to preserve minimum for a month also avoiding from crystallizing. The traditional method of preparing fruit Jam does not advise adding salt. I personally preparing variety of fruit Jam's for past 10 years. Thankyou
