But since you asked for just one, I think I'd have to choose my Late Grandma's lasagna (May she rest in peace, I love you Grandma, Hugs♡) Oh or another I just thought about is my Grandma's Italian Wedding Cookies! Yum! She made them for mine and my husband's wedding, and oh my gosh there were so many. Oh or her Patiza Bread she made every Christmas. She'd be in the kitchen baking for weeks, but everyone who knew her always got at least one loaf. Oh I miss my Grandma so much. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful work. Hugs ♡

Italian food is really, really good...but fattening! I love stuffed shells and garlic bread. That would be my last dinner if I had to choose. ..well that or really good pizza. I tend to stay away most Italian food because I am carbohydrate sensitive and gain weight relatively easily. Being Endomorphic is the pits. I wish I was Ectomorphic and could eat all this stuff. Once in a while I do indulge :). Great video.

Great filling for the shells, and my favorite, quick "go to" pasta dish is Rigatoni second only to Ravioli. Ravioli was usually what we had on Sunday family dinners,(aside from Lasagna on a holiday) but, Ravioli was the norm to start off a new Sunday pot of Gravy, and that pot consisted of the usual; meatballs, sausage and brascioles.

I made this recipe tonight except for I stuffed Manicotti. It only requires one 8 oz box of manicotti whereas the shells are 16 oz. The rest of the recipe remained the same. Turned out fantastic! No filling left over, just the right amount. I also used the Wilton Dessert Decorator Plus (piping gun) to fill the manicotti which allowed me to hold the manicotti in one hand and fill using the other hand. The only drawback is that I had to refill the gun after every two manicotti. So I had to fill the tube seven times but piping with a bag usually requires two hands just for the piping. Had I done shells I would have simply spooned in as directed.

I'm not Italian but I LOVE pasta & my favorite is lasagna. Particularly my mother's lasagna which is, by far, the best I've ever tasted. Mine is very good too but nothing beats mama's! A very close second would be macaroni and cheese---no, NOT that stuff out the box made on the stove top, I'm talking the good old-fashioned, sit-down-to-Sunday-dinner kind that is baked in a deep dish. A real southern fav (I'm from SC). Great video, can't wait to try your stuffed shells recipe!
