Thank you for all the kind words! What a wonderful surprise to find so many people enjoying what we made. I am currently working on an actual video (yes, moving pictures and voice) to follow up to this "slideshow". We were in a race against time to get this thing safe and legal to tow a few miles down the road for the first scheduled camping trip of the season. We finished several things that didn't get done in time - including real tail, marker, and clearance lights, heating and air conditioning, and all of the interior wood trim to name a few. This thing is a lot lighter than many of you might think! I'll discuss that all in the follow-up video as well. My daughter and I (and the dog!) have enjoyed many trips this year in the midwest and we are actively planning some of next year's adventures. We are also building a traditional teardrop to be towed behind a small 4-cyl car so she can have her own adventures into her young adult life. I plan on doing regular video updates with the progress there, but there's so much good information out here on the interweb that it won't be a how-to, just a progress video series for enthusiasts. We appreciate all the positivity this has generated and hope that a few of you are building something fun yourselves!

Nothing like the vacations I’ve had with my only daughter and our little 19ft fleetwood travel trailer. It’s got a few rotten patches I’ve had to repair over the 12 years we’ve owned it. We just came back from DE seashore st pk. She’s a senior in HS now. She’s preparing for the AFROTC or hopefully USAFA. Either way, I hope she has time to spend those couple weeks a summer with me in that little home on wheels. .......I’m gonna miss these days. Enjoy your time with your little daughter friend👍🏻
