It was fun watching, you be with your girls, I miss my granddaughters, it's been 16 years since I have seen them. Your pumpkin bread looks so good, I think I'll make some too. You know several years ago, someone told me that washing my sheets, gets the chemicals out, as if you sleep on them when their brand new, the chemicals can sink into your skin while sleeping, so I wash them, and they turn out so fresh and clean and smell good. I wash them twice before drying. You do a wonderful video each time, and just thought you might want to take a look at the chemicals that they put in them. It sure cured me. Anyway, Great glimpse into your life and how you do things to make your home cozy and warm. Happy Autumn!

Oh I can’t even imagine! I am so so sorry that you haven’t been able to see them for so long. My prayer is that all of that changes. ❤️ As for the sheets, you know, I was so excited to put them on…and the others were in need of washing, that I didn’t even think to throw them in the wash too. It was late when we got home too. I truly had no idea about the chemicals! Ewwww!!!! I will most definitely be washing them ASAP! Well, that was fun! Thanks to the girls for letting us catch a glimpse of them. I had wondered if they looked like you. I eat raw cookie dough, cake batter, etc. That's how I grew up and I am healthy. Plus we have chickens so I don't worry about raw eggs and wouldn't worry about them if we didn't have chickens! Lol. That pumpkin bread looks delicious and I will have to try that recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Batter eaters unite!! 😂 Thank you so much!!! I’m always hesitant to show to much of them, unless they tell me it’s ok. They are 14 and 19, and they didn’t choose to be on camera…I did. I also tend to not film around them, because I want to make sure they have my attention when we are out and about. But the botanical garden was too good not share…and they were ok with a few shots. ❤️ The oldest (red head) looks more like me now, while her sister always has (at least in my opinion. 😂 Little sister definitely acts like her dad though! 😜 Thank you for being here my friend!

@@ourhomeonlawrence Well, I don't blame you for protecting them as much as you can and letting them decide when and how they will be filmed/photographed. I enjoyed seeing them. I have two daughters also and they were just about the same age differences as your girls. They grow up so fast(mine have been grown for a long time) but I remember how fast that time flies. You are wise to make memories with them and you and they can cherish them forever!

Hi my sweet friend! I hope you've had a great week!😊 Its actually been nice here the last several days! With 50's-60's in the mornings & 70's for the high. Until today, back in the 80's🫤 But its supposed to stay this way now until probably November-December. But hey, I'll take 80's any day over those horrible triple digits! Carin I'm so glad you self esteem has gotten better.. you are beautiful inside & out my friend..Just the way God made you! Up until i was about 50, i didn't go without makeup very much. And up until early 40's i literally wouldn't leave the house without it for nothing! Now I only wear it to church or if we go out to eat somewhere nice. Lol but I'm A bit older now & makeup don't really change anything!😄 Just be confident in who you are & know you're always beautiful! Ohh honey i remember the sweaty ballgames all too well! My husband traveled(short & long distance) & played softball, he also played church league, industrial league & on a co-ed team.. Basically 6-7 day a week from before we even started dating until after our son was born. Then my son played baseball & travel baseball, so 2 different teams, he started playing at 6yrs old. He also played soccer, football & several years of basketball. I've sat on ballfields from 8am until 1am the next morning. From well over 100° to under 30°. Whew I've been drenched with sweat & frozen to the bone😄 And wouldn't change it for nothing or had it any other way! Girl yessss! Love the batter! Me, my son & my husband have literally argued over it😆 When I was pregnant i craved plain yellow cake batter & my mom made me some. I was at her house while the hubby was working, & sat and ate that entire bowl of batter, off & on til it was gone!🫣 That's my favorite, plain yellow cake mix! Same here Carin, I've done it since the 60's.. I'm fine! But that bread looked so yummy😋 Ohhh my.. that field of daisies reminds me of my home in Tennessee🥹 I had daisies all across the bottom of the yard along the fence by the road. I would go out & cut them & bring in the house. The big tree with moss looks like every tree you see here in Florida, except the palms. Such a beautiful place, so many beautiful flowers & spaces! The sheets are so pretty!❤ They look really nice on the bed. I just love your bedroom, it looks so cozy, and beautiful. So glad you had a nice time with your girls! And thanks for taking us along! First off!! I’m so sorry I’m just now replying! I love that you can totally relate to the long days/weekends at the softball and baseball fields! My husband played a season of slow pitch when we lived in North TX and it was so fun to watch him! I played softball when I was a kid, but I was never really that good. 😂 I love watching my girl play!! I just wilt int the heat! 😂😂 She has 4 more tournaments before the end of the year, so I’m praying and crossing my fingers for lower temperatures. Fall has reached Texas!!😀. I’m loving it. The Botanical Gardens were just lovely. I used to enjoy visiting the one in Ft. Worth. Ok…”Batter Girl” here and I am 74 and batter never made me sick! Nice, down-to-earth video. I enjoyed it. Like you, making pumpkin bread is my start to baking for the Autumn season, and also for the coming holiday season. I LOVE the batter, too, raw egg(s) or not...LOL! Also, I noticed you washed some of your dishes by hand and placed them on a towel. I do that, too! The Botanical Garden was lovely and your sheets look so comfy. Dogs have a soft spot in my heart, and your dog looks like a dog I had several years ago, only with the brown spots. I miss that dog. I woke up to 35 this morning with a lovely cold wind ugh. No raw batter for me. Growing up in the 50’s one of my favorite things to play with was the mercury out of thermometers. Safe? Heck no but I’m fine 🤪 I love pumpkin everything. Last weekend I made pumpkin chip muffins, but today it’s a spice cake when the bagel chips get done. You are beautiful with or without makeup. The new sheets look nice. Mine are flannel sheets and electric blanket till warm weather. returns lol. Have a great weekend!,

I'm in south Georgia and was absolutely giddy when I was able to put a throw on the bed and wear a sweatshirt for a few hours last week! I am also Team Eat the Batter (haven't died yet!) and went on a bit of a baking spree last week-something about the cooler temps... And just know, you looked lovely on the swing- you have such beautiful hair and I never once thought, "oh, she isn't made-up" (for the record, I never wear makeup so it's always refreshing to see a morning fresh face!)
