Hey man! I’m a landscaper here, I figured I’d mention, whenever you get patios this bad and you pressure wash them, some of the compacted sand us landscapers put in between the pavers to keep them from moving gets washed out and the pavers can become unsettled down the line! Not saying you can avoid that!! But just wanted to mention it so that for your customers with paver patios, You should tell them that they should have their patios re-sanded after you’ve finished cleaning! All it takes is a few bags for a patio of this size and to be swept into the crevasses between the pavers! It only takes a minute to recommend this to them, and it’ll save them thousands and keep them from having to have their patios re done entirely down the line if the level of the pavers adjusts and moves after. When patios get this bad they usually have lost a lot of sand already but pressure washing them it’s unavoidable anyway and a few bags of sand costs a lot less for the customer than redoing it entirely in the end! :) awesome video bud!

Better yet, have a few bags of sand in your van that you can sell to - and spread for the customer for a premium. Saves them from having to go to the shops and adds another 'stream' of income.
@EmmaAppleBerry2 жыл бұрын
Yeah ive seen on another pressure washing vid idk if it was his them doing the golden sand brushed over it at the end and then just using a leaf blower to blow off the excess.
@brians1322 жыл бұрын
It's avoidable if you carry some rubber strips cut to the width of the gaps and press them into the gaps around the stones before you start jet-washing them. It would add a few minutes to the job but would stop most of the sand getting washed away. Obviously you remove and reuse the rubber strips after you have washed each section clean. You could charge a little extra for this service of course.

In my country, my dad would make the entire family scrub that floor with brushes on the weekend lol. Good old days. We lived in a tropical climate so the tiles outdoors will be covered with algae and moss quite often and twice a year the entire family (me, my two sisters and mom and dad) will get to work cleaning our garden. It's crazy how times changed so much where our lives have gotten so busy that we need to hire people to clean our own homes! A good business opportunity tho.
@Oerger892 жыл бұрын
Actually, the old style srubbing is better for the stones.. Pressure washing with turbo damages the tiles and ads microscopic holes for more algae and moss to settle :) But if you got a brush to attach to the water, then its good :) Recently did our driveway with pavingstones and needed to use jetwash because former owner hadnt done it for years, but the next 3-4 times im gonna just brush it :) takes longer but its less of a mess and i wont damage the stones, and i wont need go buy extra sand

Watching all that dirt, grime and algae go away is satisfying, but more satisfying is to watch when you fellas clean roofs and remove all that algae and moss from the tiles. That doesn't happen in my neck of the woods, too hot and too dry for moss to grow.
