Homeowner Jailed for 2 Days After He Says Police Went to Wrong House

A Texas man, Dean Deitsch, says deputy sheriffs went to the wrong house after getting a 911 call about a loud party allegedly taking place at Dietsch's house. Dietsch claims he feared the men outside were armed intruders so he grabbed a shotgun to defend himself. Dietsch says he was trying to put his weapon away when the deputies closed in. He says the loud house party that brought cops to the neighborhood was coming from a house across the street. Dietsch spent two nights in jail. The charges were later dismissed.

I was pulled over by a police one night, and asked to get out of my vehicle with my hands up, then walk towards their vehicle (they had a loudspeaker) When I got close to the vehicle, I heard some teenagers laughing.
