You know even in the silent era of film, title cards were only used for important expositional dialogue and to patch holes in between cuts in which the story wasn't clear. All of your title cards are redundant. The story of Homer and the dumbbell that you've presented us would've been clear without the title cards. What you've done here dear sir, is slow down the pace of your film, treat the audience like idiots and slap grammar and punctuation in the face.
