I love your videos! We have homeschooled our six children from the start. This year we will have a freshman, sixth, fourth, second, and kindergartner schooling, plus a little one that is turning two years old today. It is nice to see what you are doing and how you are managing your homeschool and feel like there is someone I can really relate to! I especially love when you talk about how you approach the broad spectrum of ages. The juggle can feel pretty overwhelming sometimes.

I started reading Cheaper By the Dozen to my kindergartener (her pick) and was surprised by how much I had to skip. Who knew? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Penderwicks was a fun book but everyone has their own convictions - we skipped parts of the book that put a big emphasis on the 12 year old Penderwick sister that had a crush on a 17 year old boy and would daydream about him. We try to avoid relationship situations like that so I was disappointed with that part of the book. And the sisters can be very mean to each other and call each other names that I would skip over as well. Again, everyone is different and kids are different, but that’s where we drew the line.
