A couple ideas for math! Times Tales And Math Facts That Stick series by Kate Snow I have not used either of these but have heard great things about them. I am using Kate Snow’s Math With Confidence math program and it is amazing at how it teaches math and learning the math facts.

Do you use Spelling You See in addition to this or do you think it’s enough on its own? Thanks!

What do you plan to use to teach your son to read???

I am a busy mom of five soon six kids. I need something very simple with little prep work and not too stressful for me to use to teach my upcoming first grader. We started All About Reading but it’s too stressful and overwhelming for me to keep using with a lot going on at once right now. Very worried I am going to fail and mess up teaching my child to read. Would appreciate any advice you have please!

Love this idea! Will implement this into our upcoming school year. My middle school child is basically a reluctant schooler, lol. Every year, i research & try something new to try to help him not "mind" his schooling. I'll be using this for my high schooler as well! Looking forward to it! ~Liz

Your content is beautiful! You explain everything so well and your voice is very relaxing! You seem like an amazing Mom and I appreciate all your hard work in putting these videos up for everyone to grasp some of the knowledge that you've acquired from mothering Ezra. I myself have a six year old boy who is on the spectrum and this video is great information for me because I am curious about homeschooling and taking in any tips. God Bless your Family ❤ You deserve one million views!

Oh my goodness, I'm only about halfway through this video and I just want to stop to say I am so thankful that you had the courage to talk about this specific need in homeschooling. Autism has such a taboo around it because it's a seemingly invisible situation, it makes it both harder and easier to process in society. As someone who has recently realized that I too may have autism at some level, it's been quite a journey with my 5 year old son. When you started talking about the pie sorting game, I nearly started crying in gratitude. Thank you so much for sharing all that you have, I very much appreciate you. ❤

Thank you so much for this video. This is the first video that I have watched of yours but I've been searching for the right curriculum for our daughter that will start kindergarten in the fall. I have been homeschooling this year but it has been difficult to keep up because she really struggles with fine motor skills and articulation (so saying letter sounds), and keeping up with school when she has five therapies each week... I did purchase Writing Without Tears for the current school year and even though I bought everything you showed (and more) I found that I didn't have many of the things I needed for some lessons. I also think I was overwhelmed trying to do Writing Without Tears and the Good the Beautiful curriculum. I can't wait to spend more money :) and try WWT again. My daughter also LOVES music so I'm so excited to find you. Excited to check out more videos tomorrow.

Every year, we go to the GHC here in Texas, at the Kalahari in Austin. My Mom goes with me. She wrangles the kiddos and I just disappear to the Conference. I definitely relate to what you were saying about the speakers at GHC. Last year, I challenged myself to attend sessions by speakers I had never heard and more "niche" topics. I have no idea if I'll ever teach a Homeopathy unit in my homeschool but the speaker was wonderful, I learned something new about a topic I had some interest in and got introduced to what it could be like to teach it in my homeschool. Then, like you, I spent a good chunk of my time getting to see, touch, and smell curriculum😆. Our conference is in a couple months and I can't wait to go!
