Good morning, Mamas! ☕️ I hope you're able to grab a cup of coffee with me this morning! 🤍 What do mornings look like for you in this season of life? ☀️

You are always such a source of encouragement and inspiration! This video encouraged me specifically to just do the things- Bible study, and exercise especially- even imperfectly instead of putting them off until someday when I can do them "right". I come from a looong line of perfectionists 😒 and often won't attempt something if I know I can't do it perfectly. So, I miss out on a lot. I loved the quote at the end of your video. I'm going to write it down and revisit it when I'm feeling the spirit of perfectionism creep back in. The way you focus on the everyday joys in motherhood inspires me to be more in the moment too! ❤ the days are long, but the years are short! I'm praying that God blesses you as you bless others

I can relate to the perfectionism SO much! It is so hard to break free from it and let good enough be good enough! God doesn't need our perfect, he just wants our communion 🥰

I love your homeschool shelves. We also homeschool in our dining room. I’m almost out of the littles stage and while I treasured it, I’m ready to have a bit of freedom back. ❤️

Such a good reminder, there’s grace. I used to get so aggravated and frustrated when my quiet time was interrupted, but it’s only a season. And soon the season will be gone. And I will be sad. And then I just need to figure out a different time during the day to get the reading done. I am currently reading mom heart moments and then doing an Ephesians study with well watered women. I have done daily grace studies too! I did Habakkuk and loved it. ❤️ love these day in the life videos. Keep it real. Keep it in Instagram worthy….because that’s what is missing in this world. Reality❤️🙏🏻🥰

It can be so difficult to find the time to work out! I have been trying to see it as a priority, because if mama's body isn't taken care of, nobody's taken care of! When I frame it that way in my mind, it really helps 🥰

My mornings are a disaster! I’m recovering from COVID and 16 days in the hospital (half of those days in ICU). It’s left me so fatigued and depressed! But I’m praying that God will pull me up from this darkness so I can have my life back! You remind me of me when my children were small. We had 4 kids in a 7-year span so we were quite busy and I loved it! Those days passed so quickly!

This was me last September, I hope your seasons have changed and your doing much better now. I got COVID at almost 39 weeks pregnant, had baby at 39w6d and then spent 10 days in the COVID area of the hospital. I came home on oxygen and couldn't even do the dishes without needing breaks inbetween. Took me a couple months to get off oxygen and get back to a more normal schedule.

@@HSHeart723 I’m glad you and your baby are ok! I’m slowly recovering. Long COVID is no joke!
@HSHeart723 Жыл бұрын
@@Dranma51 Long covid and from what I've learned just retraining your body on breathing, once you've been on oxygen. I have a hard time walking more then 3/4 of a mile(granted it is a hilly mile) without stopping for 1-2 breaks to settle my heart rate and breathing. My doctor told me to just keep going as I feel I can. Flatter miles are easier but I still need a break here and there. How are you feeling? Prayers for a continued recovery.
@Dranma51 Жыл бұрын
@@HSHeart723 Yes, when the snow and ice melts I will be walking. Now I’m getting over a virus that led to pneumonia. I’ve never had pneumonia in my whole life and they’re saying it’s from the Covid! Good luck!

Love watching your videos and your makeup! Can you please share how (or if) you use t.v. in your daily routine? I'm struggling with minimizing t.v. time during my season of having lots of littles and the pandemic.
@OneBlessedMess2 жыл бұрын
TV stays (mostly) off during school days unless it is an educational show for the littles or a documentary for school. Afterward, I'm fine with them watching a movie or something while I'm getting things done around the house, especially during winter! No video games until the weekend because I have found they make them more irritable during the week! I'm definitely not anti-TV at all, but keeping it mostly off during the day just seems to be what works for us right now to keep everyone focused! 🤍
