Your history unit breakdowns are so helpful! I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing how you set up this year's unit.

That is again so amazing and extensive. You should be very proud of yourself. These are so much thorough approach and shows so much your broad knowledge on yjings plus how you have thought yhrough what you wish to cover through their years from k-12. It is amazing to see.❤

Did you mentioned a unit about victorian britian can you please share all the things you used. Im struggling to find things. And when you get the gilded age done

I will definitely share, but it may take a few weeks since I have a backlog of videos. To get started some of my favorite resources have been 'Who Was Queen Victoria,' 'You Wouldn't Want to Be a Victorian Servant,' and a tv show I found on youtube called 24 hours in the past - victorian britain. We also watched the musical movie of Oliver, but heads up that it is violent and the end is kind of scary.

I used "Asian Art (come Look with Me)" by Kimberly Lane to pair with our Far East unit.

How are you able to do all of this and chores, errands, cooking etc? I am struggling with that right now. Mine are almost 12, 10, 6 & 2.. I'm also trying to wean my toddler..

That is a great question and the short answer is I don't do it all well! I do have to feed us, so grocery shopping happens on the weekends (with some food prep if I can manage, but not often), meals are usually simple and easy right now, and may not have as many veggies as I would like. And the house is much messier than I would like it to be. And if things get too out of control, I will actually pause on school for a day or two so that we can get the house in order. I spend quite a bit of time on the weekend preparing for the week ahead, which makes it doable, but is not ideal as I don't get as much rest time. It is a struggle, and I certainly don't want to look like I do it all. It's especially difficult with little ones - best of luck on weaning the toddler!! 🤗
