Ah, ok. I grew up in the Lutheran church and used to keep Sunday. Then I studied the Bible and also history and found out the the Catholic church changed the day (Daniel 7:25) in the year 314AD. This change was not from God. That really opened my eyes to a lot in the Bible. You would find it fascinating at all the non-Biblical changes churches have made over the years.

Hello - Wanted to pass on if interested. I have a greenhouse also and was using propane for heat during below freezing temps. I wanted to share that I switched to those small diesel heaters they make for RV's, Tents, Greenhouses, etc. Minimal costs with models have built in tanks and some external thus allowing for different size tanks. They can run for days and some have timers to set as well. Much less expensive than burning propane! Something to check out if interested.

Thanks for the info! Definitely a learning experience this year for the first time leaving the homestead in the middle of winter. We lost one of our beehives due to the cold, but its not all bad because the top box was completely filled with honey so we were able to harvest it. Now the other hive will have a boost to get them through the rest of the winter.

We tend to go on vacation in November through March, only because of our snow pack. Eric, have you thought about putting Heat Tape on your pipes so they don’t freeze? We had a wind storm blow through and some of our heat tape that’s in our rain gutters came down. So we’ve got to borrow a 50’ ladder to get up to our roof to reinstall it. It’s a pain in the butt, but it has to be done. I’ll have to back the truck up against the ladder so it doesn’t slip out from under me, as our driveway is still covered in snow and ice.

I have some heat tape but they were located in other strategic positions. Unfortunately I cannot get that installed everywhere there is a pipe.

Our southern border is not being enforced by the government. A total of 6 million illegal immigrants have come into the US in the past 3 years. My State of Texas has declared an "invasion" and shut the border within its jurisdiction. The federal government does not like that and it is causing a conflict.
