Homesteading with a full-time job is not easy, but we are somehow managing. We appreciate all your support, your encouraging messages, and your willingness to take time out of your day and watch what we do here.
We are hoping to be more consistent with posting and sharing more of our journey in the coming months.
Please share with your friends and families!

...oh no man, you were not suppose to through away the grinder, you could have used a 6 inch nail and hammer to loosen the blade.

😀 I did take it out the bin and got another grinder. A corded one. I had to cut the lock nut because it just would not move. I will just buy another lock. I unfortunately could not record those parts as the camera broke around the same day.

If it doesn't move, and should: Q20 (spook piepie) If it moves, and shouldn't: Duct Tape. Or so they say, a hammer also works for both of those. 😁 Good video and good work!

😂 and if it needs to be bound to something quickly, cable ties. Truly the principles of the homestead. Hope you are doing well Marlon.

Thanks so much. Homesteading is such a journey. We do wish that more people embrace it but when they are ready and are mentally prepared for it. If it is a dream of yours then you will one day make it happen. You can always start preparing by looking at your ideal location, weather etc.

Use a bobejan spanner (monkey wrench) to unscrew the nut on the grinder.

Thanks. I tried that. It would not budge. Cutting it was the only solution that ended up working 😃

Very interesting. You mentioned the animal I mostly fear though: a snake 🐍. I'm still inspired

😄 snakes can be quite scary. But the more you are around them the less you fear them and the more you realise that they are so scared of us humans. Just want to always be sure we always avoid them or have a clear view of them.

sorry mate, but you've lost me from wearing gloves and eye protection just to use a simple battery drill
@millennialhomesteader

This has nothing to do with the "simple battery drill". Pallets are unfinished wood and the sharp bits can cause splinters, which can be avoided by just wearing gloves. there are also nails on the pallets that could cause injury hence the gloves. He has to wear the glasses because nothing guarantees that nothing could pop up and hit his eyes hence the glasses. His body (hands and eyes) are the main source of our income, so we can not afford any mistakes. He has to take care of himself. Thanks for engaging with our content. 😀😀 Thanks Audry
